***And you shall know the truth. And the truth will set you free!!!***

Gen 26:1-2
There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you.

How many of us here have famine in our life!!! Famine=> Problems in life!!! It could be famine in relationship, study, work...
In this verse above GOD ask Isaac not to go the way of the world, but listen to GOD's word n the way of the Lord...

Gen 26:12-14
Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.
If u trust in the Lord, u will prosper... God add no sorrow into our lives...

Luke 10:38-42
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Our purpose here is to follow the calling of God in our lives... N Mary had did the right n good thing which her other sister, Martha did not...
Our first calling in life is to follow Jesus... U shld follow Jesus all ur life...
It is not wat u can do for God but wt God wants u to do for HIM!!!We got to be a lover of God n seeker of GOD!!
Dun live for the ministry , live for GOD!!!

Wat gd part tt mary chose tt separate Martha n her?
Mary Chose to WORSHIP the Lord but Martha Loves the ministry more than the Lord!!!
WORSHIP is more than just singing songs!!!

So wat is WORSHIP!!!
1. Worship is waiting upon the GOD
In this hectic environment, most of us can't wait as waiting will means inproductive...
Isa 40:30-31
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
GOD's annoiting for those who kept on pressing on for HIM!!! Be excited for GOD!!! Wait for HIM!!!
To "wait on the Lord"= lit. to entwine urself ard the presence of God!!!
God whisper to us... so u have to calm down... The Holy spirit is a dove...
U Have to be STILL and draw in God's presence!!!
2. Worship is undistracted focus on GOD
Jer 30:21-22
Their nobles shall be from among them, And their governor shall come from their midst; Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?' says the Lord. 'You shall be My people, And I will be your God.' "
Wat ur mind focus on will be the realm of environment u will be walking in... Pledge ur Love for God!!!
Rom 8:5-6
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Wat is in ur mind, is ur realm of environment u r in... So we shld put our focus on GOD!!!
3. Worship is extravagant adoration of GOD
Worship (in Greek. Proskuneo)= to prostrate and to lean forward to kiss...
Luke 7:38
and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
This is How Mary Show her affection n adoration to Jesus Christ!!!
4. Worship is unconditional scarifice to God
It means to give our lives totallly n fully to God... We are a living scarifice on God's Alter...
