Long Since I'm Back!!!

Hei ppl I guess u all miss me rite! Though I am vain about my blog and proud to be the owner, I would say I miss the time where I use to blog daily or frequently to update the one who reads my blog to know more about my life, things that has happened to me or I wish to happen and also the interesting thing that has happen or going to happen.

So here is an update of my life, I had just quit a high paid job for a basic salary part time job. Reason being that the High paid job is not suitable for me. I will guess that this sales line is not for me as after a few months, I am still struggling to make ends meet. It is a good job which offers great challenges and experience but the problems I faced is that I wasn't eloquent enough to sell the product to my clients or customers. I also faced problems in sorting my personal times well enough as there always seems to be not enough time for these and that which make me feel frustrated and dun know wat to do next and I feel bad when things ain't going the way I expected it to be which I feel sad about it. So after much consideration, I decided to stick to normal low paid job but yet I can be back myself where I can plan my stuff to do my things. It may be selfish to the one whom I work with, but look at the other side, I may be helping him where I will not be a hinder and a stumbling block to his job. Hope everything will be fine now after a few weeks have past.

When I quit the job a few weeks back, soon after alot of funny things also happen. On the job side, a lot of my colleagues were shocked to know that I decided not to work any more as some see me as a potential candidate for the job yet however I would say if I were to really continue this job, I may be one but I chose to forgo is because I want to put God First in my life as the Bible says: "Seek First the Kingdom of God and all things shall be added onto you." One more reason why I quit the job is that it takes too much of my time and also my time with God which I feel very off the tangents. But after I quit the job I feel more at ease, I feel more focus in my life on wat I want to do and dun feel pressured and now my life is back to normal though still struggle financially but by God's grace, I in fact receive more blessing den ever as I start to see money coming into my life when I trust in God and put Him first. Jesus said in the bible that when you trust in Him and let Him be the Head of your life, you will not need to worry as He will look after ur daily needs and you do according to His word.

Talking about this, I also went back to my bible study and prayers which really lead me into another level of faith plus I also attended services and cell group regularly which strengthens my faith and boost my morale. Lately I went for Pst Benny Hinn Service and was really bless by the words and healing and anointing pour into my life. I was so touched and blessed and anointed by his service and preaching and sharing and impartation that I will said is a great transformation taking place in my life. I receive the anointing so strong that I will almost being throw back as the presence of God was too strong. Following that, for cell group and services, I was always being pour into the Spirit and healing and anointing is taking place in my life. I also see vision and have a better focus in my life and really for God to move in my life and take up responsibility which God have prepare for me.

Currently though I am kinda jobless except for my tuition which is bringing in stable income for me, I also manage to get help from various frens which I am proud to call them as they help me to tide thru this difficult times, like my cell group members from W115, as they give me the courage to tarry thru and let me get closer to God. Thanks Bk (Kenneth), PA (Eileen and Ailin), Blur Queen (Sing Yee), Boi Boi (Gabriel and Ben), Cool Boi (David), Nurse (Karine). Also my outside frens whom too many to name. Thanks for ur help. So glad to have u all ard me, u all r the light in my life.

Phil Pringle © Prayer 2 - Prayer and Fasting.

We are going to seek the Lord over this month. From Tuesday many people are
committing to a 21-day fast. This is the period of time Daniel fasted and defeated
the devil.
Daniel 10:12-14 Then he said, "Don't be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you
began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your
request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. 13 But
for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way.
Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with
the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. 14 Now I am here to explain what
will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to
come." NLT
WHY SEEK THE LORD?
1. Because we find what we seek. If we seek Him we will find Him. There is not a
greater discovery, not a greater win, not a greater joy than Jesus.
Jeremiah 29:13 and you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with
all your heart.
Jesus says it’s worth selling all you have and buying an entire field just for the
pearl that is in the field.
2. So we find the destiny, reward and life God has planned for us. The answer to
every dream, every hope, every need, every problem is found in Him. Every best
reward, every blessing, comes becomes we seek the Lord.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes
to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently
seek Him. NKJV
God is the ‘I am’, therefore ‘He is’.
He is whatever he needs to be for you.
If you are sick, He is the Healer.
If you are in debt, He is the debt canceller.
If you are bound, He is the deliverer, He sets you free.
If you are down, He is the lifter of your head.
If you are lost then He is the finder.
If you are thirsty He is the fountain of life.
If you are hungry He is the bread of Life.
If you are in darkness He is the light of the world.
If you are a sinner He is the Lamb of God your sacrifice for sin, to cleanse you and
make you right with God.
3. Because there is a time when God draws near and makes himself available to be
found. He stirs our heart to seek him. We find the Spirit of prayer pours upon us
and we are meant to seek Him.
Jesus told his disciples to seek Him in Jerusalem and they did, for ten days then the
Spirit fell and the church was born.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is
near.
Hosea 10:12
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the LORD ,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
NKJV
4. We will understand mysteries in our lives. We get light. We get to know things
that are not revealed to our natural mind but are revealed by the power of the
Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD
understand all.
5. Those who seek the Lord prosper. Those who don’t, don’t.
2 Chronicles 26:5 He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had
understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God
made him prosper.
(NKJ)
6. The ministry God has called you to will prosper if you will seek the Lord.
Jeremiah 10:21 For the shepherds have become dull-hearted, and have not
sought the LORD; therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be
scattered. (NKJ)
7. Victory in Life.
2 Chronicles 12:14 And he did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek
the LORD. NKJV
Matthew 26:40-41 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and
said to Peter, "What! Could you not watch with Me one hour ? 41 Watch and
pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is
weak." NKJV
‘Watch’.
Watching is praying. Praying is watching.
Our eyes open when we pray. Our eyes close when we don’t. When your eyes are
closed you don’t walk forward, because you don’t know where you are going.
We get to be aware of what the real problem is. We get insight. We get to see what
is coming up ahead. We get to see the things God wants to show us.
‘With Me’
There is no other way to get with Jesus than to pray with Him. He intercedes for us
right now at the throne of God.
It’s impossible to get close to God without prayer.
We will find ourselves partnering with Christ when we pray.
One hour – This is like the basic requirement of Jesus for us to pray. It takes an
hour for us to break through all the things that are between God and us.
Temptation - Our ability to resist temptation will be equal to our prayer life. If our
prayer life does not match our level of calling then we will find our temptations
exceeding our spiritual strength to resist. It’s in prayer we discover victory over
everything that comes against us.
‘Spirit willing, flesh weak’. We strengthen our spiritual life when we pray. Our
spirit becomes courageous, brave and strong through prayer.
We grow weak through prayerlessness.
Most everything we receive from God begins in prayer and fasting.
Everything in the Kingdom of God is birthed through prayer. Everything in this
Kingdom is maintained through prayer. We gain breakthrough through prayer.
We develop a relationship with God through prayer. We bind demons and release
the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer. We activate angels through prayer.
We receive guidance through prayer. We release provision through prayer. We
receive dreams and visions through prayer. Our spirit breathes through prayer.
There’s many kinds of prayer. There’s warfare, intercession, thanksgiving,
worship, importunate prayer, devotional prayer, long prayer, quick prayer, united
prayer, agreement prayer, solo prayer, faith prayer, desperation prayer, seeking
God, quiet prayer, loud prayer.
1. Fasting is often at the beginning of a new day, a new beginning, the start of God
doing something new, something great.
Jesus began His Ministry with a forty day fast.
Moses birthed nation of Israel by ascending the Mt. Sinai and fasting in
The Presence of God for 40 days.
Elijah fasted for forty days as he journeyed to the mountain Horeb into an
encounter with God.
Paul began his ministry after he was saved, fasting for 3 days.
The door to the Gentiles was opened through the fasting and praying of Peter.
2. Fasting is the key to binding spiritual forces that can’t be beaten any other way.
Mark 9:28-29 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him
privately, "Why could we not cast it out?"
29 So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and
fasting."
NKJV
3. To add power to our prayers as the lives of successful ministers;
2 Corinthians 11:27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and
thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness
NKJV
Fasting makes you spiritually sharp. Our effectiveness is in our sharpness.
We sharpen our ability in life and in God through fasting and prayer.
4. Fasting changes circumstances. Daniel fasted for the fulfillment of God’s
promises through Jeremiah that he would restore the land after seventy
years in Babylon.

Ps Phil Pringle © Prayer

James 5:16-18 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it
would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its
fruit.
This tells us;
1. Ordinary people like you and me can gain extraordinary results if we
simply employ the power of prayer.
2. The degree of result is based on the degree of effectiveness and fervency.
William Carey the great missionary to India, who originated the much-said
statement, 'God does nothing but in answer to prayer'.
Martin Luther of Germany, possibly the most pivotal man in the entire
Reformation of the 15th Century said, 'I have so much work to do, that I cannot get
along without giving three hours daily of my best time to prayer'.
"Prayer," said Robert Law, "is not getting man's will done in heaven. It's getting God's
will done on earth.'
Jonathan Edwards the man God used for the Great Awakening in America in the
17th Century records, 'When I was a boy I used to pray 5 times a day in secret,
E.M. Bounds himself says, 'Prayer has in it the possibility to affect everything which
affects us'.
R.A. Torrey preached, ''Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God's
infinite grace and power.
Ralph Herring says, 'Prayer is a summit meeting in the very throne room of the
Universe'.
Leonard Ravenhill writes, 'One might estimate the weight of the world, tell the size of
the celestial city, count the stars of heaven, measure the speed of lightening, tell the time of
the rising and setting of the sun - but you cannot estimate the power of prayer. Prayer is as
vast as God is, because God is behind it. Prayer is as mighty as God is because He has
committed Himself to answer it’.
We can attempt to explain away the slowness of revival taking deep root in
Australian hearts by all kinds of explanations like, the people aren't interested,
there's no deep Christian heritage, the ground is hard. None of these will suffice.
Anywhere in the world will become ground for a national revival if God's people
will pray. It doesn't matter where, when, what government is in power, what
demons are over the country, what the sins of the nation are, prayer is the answer
for breaking through and arousing a hunger for God in the people, and awakening
people to their spiritual needs.
Our conditions are no worse than other times in history when great revival broke
out.
In the 18th Century, the French revolution was as terroristic as anything we've
seen in our days. America had declared its rights of man in 1776. Voltaire was
preaching that the church was only a system of oppression for the human spirit,
and along with Tom Paine declared, 'Christianity will be forgotten in 30 years'. Karl
Marx agreed. The so-called 'new morality' had arisen. Christianity was held in
almost universal contempt. A poll taken at Harvard revealed there was not one
believing student. Princeton the Evangelical College found two.
In the wake of the American revolution, out of 5 million people, 300,000 were
confirmed alcoholics. 15,000 of them died each year. Bank robberies were a daily
occurrence. The Methodists were losing more members than they were gaining.
The Baptists said it was the worst times they had seen. The Protestant Episcopal
Bishop of New York quit work because he had not seen anyone join the church for
such a long time he decided his services were no longer needed in the city.
But in 1740s, John Erksine of Edinburgh published a pamphlet encouraging people
to pray for Scotland and elsewhere. His writings reached Jonathan Edwards in the
USA. He picked up the challenge and wrote a treatise called, 'A humble attempt
to promote Explicit Agreement and Visible union of God's people in
extraordinary Prayer for the Revival of religion and the advancement of Christ's
Kingdom'.
For 40 years John Erksine continued this 'Concert of Prayer', around the world,
then in 1781 at St. Just Church in Cornwall at 3.00 am, intercessors met to sing and
pray. The heavens opened. They prayed through until 9.00 am and re-gathered on
Christmas evening They continued through January and February. By March they
were praying until midnight. Two years later John Wesley visited the area and
records, 'This country is all on fire and the flame is spreading from village to village'.
Right across England people were coming to Christ, not just through the preaching
meetings, but in the prayer meetings. Many came to scoff but were thrown to
ground by the power of the Spirit. Sometimes it was noisy, and other times it was
quiet, but there was a ceaseless outpouring of the Spirit. Whole denominations
doubled, tripled and quadrupled in the next few years. This move of the Spirit
swept from England to Wales, Scotland, USA, Canada and then on to third world
countries.
This revival had an amazing effect on the social order of the day as well. William
Wilberforce, William Pitt, Edmond Bourke, Charles Fox all worked towards the
abolition of the slave trade in 1807. Florence Nightingale founded modern nursing.
John Howard and Elizabeth Fry transformed the Prison system. Ashley Cooper
came to the rescue of the working poor ending their 16 hour, 7 day a week grind.
James 5:16 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Fervent prayer is enthusiasm. It's prayer that has the fire of God in it. It's praying
with passion. It's feeling what you're praying with your heart. It's giving a burden
words. It's praying with energy.
Lev 6:13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.
Two elements of effective prayer are;
1. The prayer of faith. Faith is based on the promises of God.
2 Tim 1:7 God has not given to us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound
mind
Mk 11:23 Whosoever shall say to this mountain Be thou removed and cast into the
sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things he says shall
come to pass he shall have whatsoever he says
Mk 11:24 What things soever you desire when you pray believe that you receive
them and you shall have them
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for He who
made the promise is faithful.
Is 43:2 FEAR NOT FOR I AM WITH YOU
Phil 4:19 My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by
Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Matt 19:26 With God all things are possible
Luke 1:37 Nothing is impossible to him who believes
2 Cor 2:14 Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph
John 14:14 If you ask me anything in My Name I will do it
John 14:13 Whatever you ask in my Name, that will I do
Matt 7:7 Ask and you shall receive, Knock and it shall be opened to you, Seek and
you shall find.
Mark 9:23 All things are possible to him who believes.
Matt 21:22 All things you ask in prayer, believing you shall receive.
Heb 13:5 I will never leave you or forsake you.
3 John 2 Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as
your soul prospers.
1 John 5:4 Whatever is born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory that
overcomes the world, even our faith
1 John 4:4 Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Is 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper…

2. United Prayer.
Jehoshaphat led the nation into victory after he united them all with their families
in prayer.
120 disciples gathered together in unity in the Upper Room praying for ten days
and the church was birthed.
The whole church came together and prayed when Peter was imprisoned. Angels
came and set the man free.
Paul and Silas prayed and sang together in unity and not only get themselves set
free. They destroyed an entire prison and set all the prisoners free.
That's why we're here. To set a city free with united, faith-filled energetic,
enthusiastic prayers filled with fire.
1 Kings 18:30-39 Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come near to me." So all the
people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was
broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the
tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come,
saying,"Israel shall be your name." 32 Then with the stones he built an altar in
the name of the LORD; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to
hold two seahs of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order , cut the bull in pieces,
and laid it on the wood, and said, "Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on
the burnt sacrifice and on the wood." 34 Then he said, "Do it a second time," and
they did it a second time; and he said, "Do it a third time," and they did it a third
time. 35 So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with
water.
36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that
Elijah the prophet came near and said, "LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant,
and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37 Hear me, O LORD, hear
me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have
turned their hearts back to You again."
38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the
wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the
trench. 39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they
said,"The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!"
