Wat are the purpose in the society we are living rite now? It is to grow into more influences...

Let us look into Jesus Life when He enter into our world.

1. Solve the present need - impact of the miracles, spiritual breakthrough.
2. To be fishers of men - Cleanse the leper => reach out to terminally illness.
3. To be fishers of men - Heal a paraltic => compassionate to the weak and disabled.
4. To be fishers of men - Tax collector => fellowship with sinners.
5. To be fisher of men - Heal the sick and meet the needs.
6. Reach out to fallen humanity - Step out of Glory, step down into humanity.

Requirements to be an influences in society.

1. RISKS - you have to launch out into the deep, out of your confort zones to catch the good catch. Step out of your identify yourselves to fallen humanity.
2. ROOFTOP SYNDROME - Peter in the Bible is always spending time to understand the visions but in actual fact God actually wan him to go into the streets to reach out to the lost. SO dun be catch up into spirituality that you forget to reach out to the fallen humanity. Mission of God's vision is to bring His presence out into our world. Have patient in dealing with sinners, giving them the second chances.
3. RIGHT WEAPONS IN THE WRONG BATTLEFIELD - Using spiritual weapons against physical bodies. Understand that spiritual weapons is a warfare against the devil not humanity, while in the physical realm is to serve the people, carrying the servanthood.

It is our responsibility as a Church to bring skin and flesh to the Word. We are to be like Jesus where the word become flesh and impact the society. When ppl look at you, they can see God. We are to go into the world to make disciples, only when you love them, they will know that God is here. Understand tt it is not how much u know, but how much they know that you love them. It is a warfare against spiritual principality. We need to love God wholeheartedly and love ppl fervantly. Ppl are not your enemies but the devil.

How den shall we love humanity?:

1. Be hospitable to one another - 1 Peter 4:9
2. Care for one another - 1 Cor 12:35 - show selfless serving.
3. Pray for one another - Dun ignore ppl's needs.
4. Restore one another - James 5
5. Teach and admonish one another - Col 1:3
6. Serve one another - Gal 5

We got to be like star thrower. The story goes like this:

There was once a wise man who was walking along the shore. As he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead, was reaching down to the shore, picking up starfish and very gently throwing them into the ocean.When asked why he was throwing Starfish into the ocean, the young man answered "The sun is up and the tide is going out and if I don't throw them in they'll die". The wise man replied "But don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach with Starfish all along it, and that you can't possibly make a difference!"The young man listened politely, then bent down, picked up another Starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves. "It made a difference for that one", he said.

I believe that we all have been gifted the ability to make a difference, it’s all up to us whether to do it or not. If we are aware of this gift, do you not realize you have the power to shape the future? We got to make a difference, cuz without love, it is nth even when you are spiritual => Balance is impt. We have to have individual, coporate making a difference in the society.

Great Commission is fulfilled outside the church not within the church.

Today early in the morning, I went to Malaysia to try sth new. I try pedicure and manicure... It was a fun experience as it was the first time, I think the service was very good and I will recommend not juz to the gals in my cg but also the guys. U all shld try to take care of your fingers and toes. I did it at Holiday Plaza, the price is RM 55 for gals and RM 70 for guys. Next, I also try sth new while my trip there. It was to take a train back to Singapore instead of Bus. It cost abt RM2.90 to travel from the train station from Malaysia back to Singapore at Tanjong Pagar Train Station. When I reach Singapore, I went to meet Sing Yee to prepare for refreshments for the CG. We met at Orchard and went to buy some Japanese Food. After buying the refreshment, we pamper ourselves with ice cream. It is very delicious. After buying the refreshment, we head down to Torrance's House and saw a House getting ready for Halloween. Here are the pictures taken.



Today CG was abt prayer. We are praying for every member and growth in our lifes. After the prayer meeting, we prepare the food for the members to eat. The response was overwhelming. Our CG had rice that matches the side dishes we bought for CG. It was so cool. We also bought bread too. We had a full and sumptuous meal today.

After CG, I went to watch the movie "Seeker". At first, I thought the movie is abt Harry Porter cuz in Harry Porter movie, the game also got these ball that is called the seeker. But to my surprise, it wasn't. In fact it is a story but itself. The plot is nice but I wun say much here. Dun wan to be a spoiler... If u wan to knoe more den go watch it.

Dreams are impt in our lives, it is sth that propels a person to do the impossible in his or her physical realm but yet thru the ability of imagination achieving it. Our mind have the capacity to do the impossible according to scientist's research. Whenever, we tap into the rest of the brain, we are moving in the impossible and make it possible. Given the fact that we Christians are able to tap into God's strength and believe God will make it possible for us, we are able to tap and maximise the potential in us. The power of imagination come out of the creativity that is in us. When we realise it, there is creativity that God have given to u, and the ans is on how you tap into this creativity that God has given u. We are image of God's image, God's creativity. Without creativity, we perish in our work, careers and study. If we dun use creative idea to improve our lives, we live in lack and we perish

Pro 29:18. People without a vision perish.

With a vision, it bring discipline in your life. With discipline, you can achieve your goals faster. TO achieve your goals, you need to have creative ideas to move towards your goals. In the process of writing your goals down, it is a magnet when u put them into words and become visible and clearer towards your vision. It also make it stronger magnetise to your goals. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

My vision is my picture of my future. My vision have the magnetic power to pull me into my future. The clearer my vision, the stronger it is towards my future. When you have no future, you will always return to your past. It is like a dog return back to its vomit. It is like losing sight of their future. It is like backsliding... It is when you stop trusting God and return to your old ways. That is why the devil will try its best to get you return back to your past and rob you from having a future in your life.

Today, I purposely woke up early to try to get into an interview to become SIA cabin crew. I felt anxious and stuff but in the end I forgo the interview as Firstly, I forget to print the interview form, den I was asked to fill it at the counter and re-queue again. As the queue is horrendously long, I decide to juz take the form and come back again, cuz I not gg to re-queue again. Though some of u reading this post may find me very impatient, but the fact is I juz do not wan to re-queue and in the end gain nth as the chance will be slimmer as you are the last few candidate, plus I also do not want to end up only start interview at 3pm or later and miss my precious Church Bible study and svc.

So I have decide to go for the next interview and will in fact will try to reach as early as possible, cuz today by 940am i reach there, the queue is already at the back of the hall. SO wish me luck the next time.

Pro10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

Pro 11:25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

Over these two verse, we can see the blessing of God pouring over us. But there is one condition which is to be a blessing so that you can be blessed. Notice that God wants us to be generous unto others so that we can be blessed by Him eventually and able to be an influences and impact on others.

As Pst kong always shared that we are to be salt and light to the society and in doing so we can bring Christ into Culture and hence fulfilled the culture mandate. Our society are moving into a stage of intelligence which hard selling is not workable. What the world needs is really relational. It is like “ Finding a hurt and heals it, finding a need and meet it.”

As we have seen in the vision wkend on the impact of our offering, tithes and building funds, how we have blessed the community and impact society and benefits others, we also see report on how or church have prospers and grown. So it has fulfilled the promise of God in in blessing, I will blessed you, In multiplying, I will multiply you in. Gen 22:17-18. This is the promise of the Father to Abraham when He blessed Abraham for obeying God's voice to be generous.

In the new testament, Jesus also affirmed the promise of the Father, by giving us the Gift of the Holy Spirit, Which is also called the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is also the speaking of tongues. As believers, we are given the spirit to indwell in us. So prayer is a blessing which we can give unto others apart from giving as prayer also a form of giving urself to others.

When we give and bless others, we are also given a promise of the Holy Spirit which is birth forth thru multiplication and blessing which is our potion of life. So it is when u choose to obey God and pray and bless other that in return u can experience exponential blessing and multiplication and the cycle go on and on.

Today I receive a new try out by Starhub on wireless modem. It allows user to surf anywhere n anytime. I was a member in Ripplevox and was privileged to try the modem, in fact, I am using tt to type my blog now. Haha... Now I can really surf anywhere and anytime in Singapore.

Have been blessed lately by sermon and cg and how things have been work out. I notice my revelation have been giving and I think I shld start to be a blessing to other and hope other can also live up the example as the Bible say it is a blessing to bless and the reward will be eternal from the Lord, and a promise of open heaven in our life.

O lvl is ard the corner and I'm more anxious than most students. Why? Becuz I am taking together with them!!! Not I retake but is more of I am preparing them for Os. I have a group of students under my hand and I am gearing them for O lvl. I am now the one who is encouraging them and also teaching and guiding them. I wish all those taking o lvl all the best for the coming exam and if u all have any qns feel free to ask b4 it is too late...

2 Cor 4:18
While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.


Reality is what you see, fixed facts, pinciples, laws. However, they are temporary. Y is that so? Cuz reality deals with possibility and are things which can be seen.


What is circumstances den? It is where you are standing in the cycle of events that is taking places in your lives. Circum= Circle, cyle. Stances = Your Standing.

Dun be fixated to the problems in your life, but get over the problems and move on. Circumstances are always on the move, they come and go. Dun dwell in it, just solve it and move on. You need to stand out of the natural realm and step into the realm of eternal. Stay strong and hold on to God. Rmb tt wat you see is always inferior to wat you cannot see. (Spiritual, eternal realm)

Live your life the spiritual and impossible realm where there is no limit and all things are possible in God. You got to challenge reality and believe in the impossible to make it possible.

Reality can be a limitor in your life!!! You got to deal with it or else it will deal with you. Take for example, IQ=> Intelligence can limit you, it can paralyse or immobilise you.

Pro 23:6-7
Dun be a miser. The world is ruthless in getting but we(Christians) shld be ruthless in giving.

Your reality is affected by economics!! How much money you have. Our reality is not fixed! Dun be constriats or limited or else you are at the mercy of the ppl who limit you.

Understand tt no one can limit your realm of imgination and impossibilites Cuz in the realm of the spirit, you are moving in the supernatural power of God. "I know who I am, being the child of God" => Power of God to change your reality, become a world shaker and history maker.

Prosperity is a state of thinking, not wat you have in your bank. Cuz you can be rich in your bank but yet have a poverty mindset or you can be poor in your bank but yet have a prosperity mindset. Gen 39:1-2, we see that Joseph though a slave in Egypt was yet a prosperous man and hence prosperity starts in the mind. Once you have the scarcity mindset, you are in the crisis of faith. Cuz our God is a God of abundance, He is El Shaddai. It all abt faith, hope, creativity, courage, hard work to get wealth. It is the power to get wealth thru God in Deut 8:18.

Pro 4:23
It mention on to guard your heart as it spring issue of life and death. Issue means the physical boundaries and territory and influences. It is thru the Holy Spirit that provides blessings and mulitplications.

Your reality is impacted by your financial position. Walking in the realm of the spirit, in the revelation of God.
Jn 3:12-13
Mention abt walking in heavenly realm in our hearts and mind even though walking ohysically in earthly realm.

Pro 10:4-5
He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the Diligent makes rich.
He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

As arise and build is ard the corner, it is impt for us to know where we place God in our heart so much so also in our giving and in the ways we give. Pst shared with us the importance of giving and tithing, and how it will benefits us and make us to continue to prosper. That is is to have the heaven open wide over us with showers of blessing. But lets look at the old testament on how the Israelites prepare to build God's house.

Exo 35:5
Take from among you an offering to the Lord, whoever is of a willing heat, let him bring it as an offering to the Lord; gold, silver and bronze;
Exo 35:21
Then everyone came whose hearts were stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the Lord's offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.

Now it came to pass that the offerings by the Israelites is too overwhelming that they are commanded to stop giving. When God's house is filled, the presences and anointing of God was with them.

Next we look at King David when he rebuilds the temple of God in 2 Sam 6 - 7. David restores the ark of God and in the end God blesses him with riches and make a covenant with him in 2 Sam 7:16 to establish David's kingdom forever. next in 1 Kings 5-9 where King Solomon builds the grand temple of God, and God also prospers him. So we see two successful example.

Now we move to the new testament. Jesus commanded us to seek God's kingdom and righteousness and all things will be added unto you in Mt 5:33. It is a promise stated or clearly illustrates in the given example.

We now look at the new testament churches. In Acts 4:32-37, the apostles and disciples share their processions for mission and church planting. In Acts 5:12-16, you can see how God moves His anointing in the church. The rest of the new testament, the apostles also teaches the disciples t give offering for Church planting and mission, and everytime, the people who obey prospers and give even more.

And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Haven been doing my normal blogging of update and sharing apart from the two enjection posted based on previous experience with the Lord. Since my relief teacher end on 14 sep, now I only work as a tutor and these few weeks have been teaching and teaching and teaching as exam is ard the corner. Students are flooding to me to ask me to teach them but my time is so jammed packed tt I have to reject some of them. I have my normal two lesson weekly with the China bros I had with occasionally can't make it as the distance to their house was a major issue. Next is the tuition kid at bedok which almost everyday I drop by his house as he needs more coaching and his mum requested the offer. Also my ex student from ESSS which in the end I only manage to meet them once to teach them geog, which is one day b4 the paper. So three wks of teaching had passed, I am almost exhausted, but yet I am satisfied with myself to be able to help and guide them.

Next, I was still thinking anything interesting happen to me between these 3 wks but was really clueless, except tt I help up in Children's church on 29 Sep at my old church premises at Jurong West. It was a fun experience as for so long I have not visit Children day to help out. Tt day I attend the helping and report to Jurong West at 9am, though I was tired and didn't have enough slp. Along the way there on the train, sth struck me, as ususally I will slp all the way to JW but this day I was like asking God to give me strength. AS the asking was so, God nudge me to read the Bible. I was like, God R U SURE!!! Cuz I may fall asleep. But God challenge me, so AS I was reading, I was refreshed. Praise God.! He nva shortchange us! SO in the end I reach church and met up with Torrance and Natalie, my cg members. Den we register ourselves and was assigned to various side to help up. I was in the busing section. In this section, we are to escort the kids safely to alight and board the buses. The most blessed thing happen was tt I was tasked to be the leader to appoint the helpers which was a shock to me, but praise God tt everyone did cooperate and it was a success. Thank God for everyone. So after the helping, Torrance, Natalie and me went to Jurong Point to eat with my beloved friend, Willie. After the meals, we rushed down to svc at expo. While in the train, we were all trying to slp but Torrance have the best place and slp all the way, while Natalie and me is struggling... So the day of sep 29 is spent.

The wk before on Sep 2, I also donated my blood. It have been so long since I donated to the blood bank. It was also a good experience as we donated in Church at expo. Usually I rmb tt I either donate in community centre or the blood bank headquarter. Tt day i donate my blood was a bit awkard. I wasn't preparing to donate as I haven had enough slp, but one of the volunteer there, also a church members challenge me and said tt God will protect u, dun worry give life and God will nva shortchange u. So in the end, I choose to trust God and donated. It was a fun experience as I feel like it was the first time I donated blood. After donating the blood, I did sth stupid. First I request to hold my blood bag, which is feel with warmth. Next when the nurse wan to bandage me, I was like a little kid asking whether got certain color to wrap me. Den after tt, I went for svc. but had long hours queuing. At first I thought got Bible Study, but dun have. But due to the long hour queuing, I got the best seat for svc. Tt day, We got the seat at the front of the stage. The svc was very impactful as the presence was very tangible.

PS 144:12 Our Sons may be as plants grown up in their youth that our daughters may be as pillars sculptured in palace styles.

What it is to be like plants?

Notice here, God wants us to be like plants, but what are the characteristics of plants? As you can see, the survival of plants are very strong. In fact, they are everlasting even in harsh conditions. Notice when strong winds or winter come, plants though been thru these circumstances still stay rooted. We got to be rooted in the soil like being rooted into the words, by these we can be strong in harsh circumstances and conditions. Having the ability to thrives in harsh times. So to be like plants, it also mean to be firm, stand, establish.

What it is to be like pillars?

The most important structure of the buildings is the pillars. It holds the structure, without it, the buildings will not stand. Though it may be just a simple object, yet it is the most essential. It is liken to the fact that though we are simple people with ordinary life, but when we choose to hold people up, being an encouragers, we can be the most essential people in their life and supports them. It is also meant to be vertical, upright, explaining the character and backbone of a person.

By doing so, we are able to be an influence in our society. So we can see that everywhere there is plants and buildings surrounding us, so we need to be like it and surround everyone around us to be the extraordinary person though with ordinary hands, knowing that God will use us and provide us the supernatural strength.

Lets be like plants that holds on to the soil with their roots and press on on the survival while we also have to be like pillars that holds the structure and not collapse. Knowing that if God can use Pst kong, He can also use u as long as u lean on Him.

Ps 112:1 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who FEARS the Lord , who DELIGHTS greatly in His commandment.

Having the fear of the Lord, is not something scary but it means to be delight, to be in Joy. Because in Ps 111:10 it says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments. So we need to understand the word so that our fear in the Lord is not about restricting ourselves or be bind in legalism neither to live our life lawlessly but is to understand God more and experiencing Him in a deeper level. When we prepare our heart during quiet time to seek Him, it is the pouring of our hearts to Him and let Him take control of our life, knowing that we belongs to Him and Him alone, the world cannot reduce our presence as we engage God. God will never forgets us nor abandon us. Always give yourself to prayer. Remember, he who abides in Him will have everlasting life.

Remember what Bro Nick says in the service? He says that we are people that God can use and that thru us God's perfection is release. Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. See over here, that God promises us a future and hope, though we may not understand what God has for us, but we can definitely trust in Him out plans and hope. Cuz Mt 6:33 says that But Seek First the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Notice God not juz says to seek His kingdom but also his righteousness. What is righteousness, if u look carefully, it is actually God's commandment on living a life of honesty and integrity.

So lets us put God's commandment in our hearts and in our mind. What I have learnt and notice so far is really when you put ur trust in Him, He will never shortchange you.
