Ytd, Ailin,Natalia and me meet at 630am to head to Jurong West Church to gather for our SOT orientation day. We were all so excited for it. Upon reaching the Church, we were discussing whether we will be in the same team anot. Reach the Church at ard 730am, we look for our card and wait to be registered at 8am. When the clock strike, we quickly take our card and started to take picture and get ready for the briefing. We also found out to be in the same team!!! Praise God. At 9am, we gathering for a briefing and also for a good morning short Praise and Worship. After the P&W, we were asked to gather in our team and get to know each other and build the bond. Abt 10mins later after gathering, we started off the First Game which is to buy 20 items below $10. With the quick-witted mind, I was thinking of all the possible free items instead of buying the items. So we manage to the the items and went back to Church to start off the game for the rest of the days.
Today is our first lesson for local students. In the morning, we had a wonderful session with Pst Derek and ministering. I was great and fantastic. Follow that, we have a break and start with Foundation Truths II(FT2) Lesson 1 & 3. After the lesson, I have to rush down to workplace and start work. Today seems a great day. I'm looking forward for more in times to come.

A New Man!!!
It have been a week since I last updates about myself on Blog. So many things happen this wk. It is sad and yet in the end God turn my life ard with a great blessing in the end. After a great Easter Celebration with my frens and CG members. I was awaiting for my calling to go for water baptism on 30 Mar. I was getting ready buying new clothes and pants for these occasion and also celebrate my Father's Birthday which happen to be on Easter Sunday. All was gg on well, nth to expect a bad thing befall my family. On Mon, when I was back at work, all was great with the blessing of God overwhelm me, the days continue well till Tuesday. A tragedy happen, My grandpa passed away on Tuesday night when I reached home from work. It was saddening but I was at that point emotionless. No idea wat to do next. The first thing next was to quickly inform my ESSS & Tuition Center abt the situation tt I can't go to work. But to my next surprise was that the tuition center can't approve my leave totally as there is shortage of teachers, so in the end I still need to go to work, it is a source of relaxing myself in these tense situation. So the funeral preparation go on from Tuesday night all the way to Saturday where the cremation took place. I have been trying to hide my tears for the first few days but on the last days I juz cry buckets of water. The funeral was all well till we were back at my grandpa's house where my father kinda quarrel with my uncle over some money matter, so it made an awkward situation after tt.
Well, it is time to move on as usual. So I had a good rest on Saturday night. Was struggling whether to go for Water Baptism after the funeral was a tough decision to make. But in the end, as my desire for God is so strong, I decided to go for it amidst all the depression. So Ytd I went for my water baptism. It was a great experience. I was so hype up and excited that I was like a child receive a prize for no apparent reason, the joy of the Lord is really my strength at that point of time. I still remember when I step into the pool, I was like can't wait for the pastor's hand to be laid on me. When the Pst said: "Jonathan Teo, I baptise you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit!" and then immerse me into the water, I really feel the peace of God overwhelm me. It was a wonderful experience once in a lifetime. I really encourage those who wan it shld go for it asap as it is an experience u wun wan to miss. After the baptism, I went for svc. I really feel the difference in me as I was like the very first time I was back in church, jumping and praising God with supernatural strength, singing out loud and really enjoying the presence of God. I will say that God's calling in my life was really fulfilled with my obedience in His word. Praise God & Amen!!!

School Started!!! For Work & Joy!!!
Finally the March holiday is over, school has started and I'm back in ESSS again. Wondering wat had happen over the holiday. Reflecting back at it, my parent went for an overseas trip to China, the whole house only left the three oldest siblings which is myself and my two eldest youngest sister. When parents are away, we are literally exploring all possibilities of rebellion but yet most of us turned out to be super guai and go home daily except for a few occasion where me and my second sister din go home and stay over our frens' house. But this holiday wasn't much a holiday for me as I was still busy working at the tuition centre as lesson is still as per normal. It is quite tiring to see everyone relaxing while I still working but at least I have a moment of rest from nagging and breeze thru the holiday with work and play. I notice I went to gym more during this wk as more free time to gym. I also went for a jazz class and my usual step classes. It is really interesting in attending the classes. The jazz teacher commented that I was quite a fast learner as I was new to those dance steps. I was so thrilled. I also mange to gain enough rest during these holiday as I can slp all the way to 12pm b4 waking up for work.
Lets talk abt wat my parents bought during their trips when they were back on sat night. To my surprise, they bought a lot of branded sports wear at super cheap prices and I have my fair share of some of the collections. My mum also get me a Nike formal shirt and 2 belts. The following picture is wat I got.
Praise Report: Rmb a few wks back, I was asking for your prayer for me to go for SOT!!! It is finally prayer answer as my tuition centre boss gave the "ok" permission for me to go for the course without any pay cut. Really thank God for tt!!! Amen & Amen!!!
Now I can't wait for SOT to start at Apr 7, water baptism on Mar 30 and also this coming Friday Easter celebration. Hoping for a mighty move of God. This coming Easter our church have a total of 12 English svc with 8 other services.

Registering for SOT 08
After much consideration and decision, I have decided to sign up for SOT 08. It has always be my dream and passion to enrol into SOT and now I am here to take up the course and challenge. It will be a 5mth course starting from Apr 7 to Aug 28. In doing so, I was also hoping for a open favour from my tuition center to allow me to go for the course and yet at the same time still able to work there. So I need all necessary prayer and support from my CG and also frens to pray for me for the things that is to come... I really wish to be able to rise up for these special occasion and for a mighty move of God in my life this year...

Wonderful Friday Spent!!
Today early in the morning, I went to Malaysia to try sth new. I try pedicure and manicure... It was a fun experience as it was the first time, I think the service was very good and I will recommend not juz to the gals in my cg but also the guys. U all shld try to take care of your fingers and toes. I did it at Holiday Plaza, the price is RM 55 for gals and RM 70 for guys. Next, I also try sth new while my trip there. It was to take a train back to Singapore instead of Bus. It cost abt RM2.90 to travel from the train station from Malaysia back to Singapore at Tanjong Pagar Train Station. When I reach Singapore, I went to meet Sing Yee to prepare for refreshments for the CG. We met at Orchard and went to buy some Japanese Food. After buying the refreshment, we pamper ourselves with ice cream. It is very delicious. After buying the refreshment, we head down to Torrance's House and saw a House getting ready for Halloween. Here are the pictures taken.
Today CG was abt prayer. We are praying for every member and growth in our lifes. After the prayer meeting, we prepare the food for the members to eat. The response was overwhelming. Our CG had rice that matches the side dishes we bought for CG. It was so cool. We also bought bread too. We had a full and sumptuous meal today.
After CG, I went to watch the movie "Seeker". At first, I thought the movie is abt Harry Porter cuz in Harry Porter movie, the game also got these ball that is called the seeker. But to my surprise, it wasn't. In fact it is a story but itself. The plot is nice but I wun say much here. Dun wan to be a spoiler... If u wan to knoe more den go watch it.

Happy Teaching.
Was looking thru my blog and notice I forget to blog on 31 Aug on my relief teaching which I promise to blog abt. Now Let me give u the update so far on my relief teaching. I was assigned as a Geography relief teacher for a period from 13 Aug to 30 Aug. I was given 5 classes namely, 2E1, 2E3, 2E4, 2E5, 2N1. I taught them 3 chapters and almost every wk I complete a chapter. On the first day of relief teaching, I was pretty blur on wat to go thru with them, but in the end the first day lesson was mostly on chit chat with the students. As the days and weeks go by, I pick up the pace and start to pour in information for their topic and teach them. I have problem teaching the E1 and E5 due to some students whom simply dun cooperate in class and juz like to talk thru out the lesson or make silly comment each time I attend their lesson. I pretty like the N2 class as they make me feel welcome and also E3 the group of students that always make me angry but yet so nice to me, not forgetting the quiet and tamable E4. During my stay, I teach them plus give them a mini test which most of the students didn't score and make me dishearten. But they all make it up where some of the students actually give me teacher's day present (not tt I wan to have present) though I wasn't really their teachers but a passerby. Was glad and I really appreciate the effort they made to give me the presents. So thanks alot students for giving me the teacher's day present, and for those who didn't give, it is oki at least u make my stay enjoyable though it can be tiring and frustrated at times. Next I will update on this wk where I was back again in the same sch for a wk of Chinese Relief teaching as the Chinese teacher whom I am relieving is my previous sch Chinese teacher, she taught me b4 too. It is amazing and a small world. This time round I was given the lower sec, 1E5, 2E1&2E2, 2N1. The upper sec was taken by the HOD. However, my stay also include relieving some other teachers tt is away. My stay this time round is abit off and blur as I am like running around the sch taking this teacher's lesson and another apart from my usual classes. But still I would like to comment on some of the student tt make my day. I wasn't really engaging the student at all this time round. I dun really talk to the students in 1E5 as the grp is bigger, not tt I didn't teach b4 a class of 40 but is juz tt communicate in Chinese is sometimes harder den with English. For the 2e1 and 2e2 class, lesson was oki but not under my control at times. Next is this time round favourite, the 2N1 as I was also the co-form teacher of the class. I had a wonderful time with them on both Rise and SFL lesson and also the charity bazzar we had in sch. They are so nice students though they can be pretty noisy and notorious at times. I like these class also with my 2n2 class. I also teach the chinese students of 2n1.
2N1 & 2N2 students who happen to visit my blog, please work hard for your exam to come, I will support u all the way. If u need help can seek me. Rmb "Seek and you shall find". Continue in your study, I see potential in some of the students. You got to dream far to achieve result.
2Es students, who happen to visit, I also wish you the best and hope you can enter the class of your dreams. Jia you orh!

A busy wk of teaching!!!
Since I taken up teaching four wks ago, I notice almost every day, I am teaching. Though it can be tiring sometime, but I wasn't really bother and in fact I start to be more committed and press on. Three wks of teaching geog to the sec 2 students was a great reward as some of them are blessed by my teaching, whether they appreciate or not, but I think I tried my best to guide them whatever I can and possibility teach. Next is my tuition kids, they are also wonderful, though always never complete the homework I given to them, but at least I know and see them progress in their study and know all the techniques I taught them. In fact, I was so concern abt them everytime, and when I prepare my stuff to go teach them. Next wk, I still have one more wk to teach as a relief teacher, after that I am unsure of my plan, but I know there is a greater purpose to come as God is always faithful to me. (oophs random exclamation on God again). Haha!! But it is a undeniable fact for me, so bear with me. Next is the project runway by my cg and other cg combine on Friday Sep 7. It was an awesome event as I was one of the Host, it is so great to hold the mic and talk to an audience and had a great time of fun. I was also appointed the judge for the models for the runway. Though the event is organise by people of ordinary without professional training, but it was still a great event and everything is smoothly run thru and according to plan, with minor or no glitch at all. Everyone did a great job, from the organising committee IC, Serena; OIC, Ailin; Hosts, Audrey, Nat, Myself; Worships, Torrance, Lyon, Choon tai, Carey; Chorus board, Robson, Gabriel; Logistics, David; Usher, Singyee, Ben. Wonderful Jobs guys. So great to have u all as a team. Oh ya, also not forget the admin team, Chmel, Huan li and more. Last but not least, the people who attends the events, the models and designers, you all make the show runs....
Ytd, I also attends svc in church. The preaching or the sharing is by this guy called Nick. He is a guy without limbs and yet he live his life as an example to testify God's goodness in his life and also a motivational speaker that inspire alot of broken hearted, lost hope people into more life. Listen to him share and tells us at his life story and sermon tt push him so far to glorify God really make me wept during the svc. It is so amazed at how God can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Praise God and all glory to Him. A day in Sentosa!!!
Wow, have a wonderful day at Sentosa with my friends, playing volleyball, Frisbee. It has since been long tt I went to Sentosa to play. Guess the last time was during my army day when we have an event at Sentosa which is last year. The weather was great with sun shine. We met at 1030 at habourfront and take the tram to Sentosa. We headed straight to Beach Station and find a nice location and played our games. We played till 3pm before we went to vivocity to have our meals. Here are the pictures taken: Labels: Happy Moments

A day in my ex-JC!!!
I went to my jc today with my mei zi, maureen, it was so amazing to see how my jc have change and my little junior who are in the sch studying, having lesson, playing ard in the canteen like wat I have did in the past. I also met up with my ex teachers, like Mr Chen, Ms Lim, Mr Naresh and some other teachers too. It was a wonderful time spend there as most of the time, we were in Mr Chen Geog tutorial with his students, and I feel like a student n notice I can ans the qns though I know it is no longer of need as I wasn't gg to retake my A lvl. Mr Chen was so nice to us as he bought us drink and lunch tt day. Labels: Happy Moments
After visiting my sch, I went to visit my ex colleagues at Singapore Expo as they are having an interior design exhibition. Hence, I linger there and chat with them and see how they gg, they were asking me back, but I wasn't really keen yet, as my current status is still not stable to take up tt offer. I wish maybe in the future den I might consider gg back.
