It Is ThanksGiving Time!!!!

This Harvest Season Give Thanks...
For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped, For the labor well done, and the barns that are heaped,
For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb, For the rose and the song and the harvest brought home -- Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!
For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land, For the cunning and strength of the workingman's hand,
For the good that our artists and poets have taught, For the friendship that hope and affection have brought -- Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!
For the homes that with purest affection are blest, For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest,
For our country extending from sea unto sea;The land that is known as the "Land of the Free" --
Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

There Getting A Divorce
An elderly man in Phoenix calls his son in New York and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough.
"Pa, what are you talking about?" the son screams.
"We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the old man says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her," and he hangs up.
Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this."
She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at the old man, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife.
"Okay," he says, "They're coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own fares ...
Now what do we tell them for Christmas?

A 4-year-old boy who was asked to return thanks before Thanksgiving dinner. The family members bowed their heads in expectation.
He began his prayer, thanking God for all his friends, naming them one by one. Then he thanked God for Mommy, Daddy, brother, sister, Grandma, Grandpa, and all his aunts and uncles. Then he began to thank God for the food.
He gave thanks for the turkey, the dressing, the fruit salad, the cranberry sauce, the pies, the cakes, even the Cool Whip.
Then he paused, and everyone waited--and waited....
After a long silence, the young fellow looked up at his mother and asked,"If I thank God for the broccoli, won't he know that I'm lying?"
