Back in Pasir Ris Camp... So happy cuz finally I can start using phone... But b4 anyth, I have to sort all the admin work n store thing back to their original place...
Day 40 (Feb 24)
Today we all wake up damn early to prepare to go to SAFTI for our hand greanade throwing... Spend the whole day there...
Day 41 (Feb 25)
Today we r all back at Pulau Tekong for BIC... After BIC the COY go for trench digging lesson follow by the actual practice... Den in the late afternoon we went back to mainland again...
Day 42 (Feb 26)
Today the COY had clean fatigue SOC test b4 we bk out... So happy we all can bk out n the morale was quite low...

Field camp in Tekong...
Field camp Day 1 (Feb 14) Labels: Updates
Today is valentine day n the whole COY is at tekong for our outfield training... So sianz diaoz lor... Everyone is not in a very gd mood due to this clashing of time... We wake up damn early today to prepare to go tekong... Reach the field camp site at abt in the afternoon sia... Set up alot of stuff n do alot of movement n setting up... My leg is in agony sia...
Field camp Day 2 (Feb 15)
Today wake up very early too n was so tired as ytd sleep late due to helping Warrant L to do some admin work... After that, do some more setting up and looking after the campsiten tend to it... Very Sianz... But lucky have sone to talk too in between helping out... Found out a fellow Christian mate from the same church... Share some songs singing and getting ready to rest...
Field camp Day 3 (Feb 16)
Today do nth mth except dishing out blanks for recruits to train their firing... Slack the whole day n taking care of the area... As only two platoon is at the camp site while the other three is at the firing range...
Field camp Day 4 (Feb 17)
It's heaven cuz only me n another recruits stay at the campsite... As everyone is out for range... After tt in the afternoon left me and one of the sergeant- Sergeant Lu... But in the end we do not have dinner as the driver forget to pack food for me n SG... So in the end I slept early n was alone as the other recruits who were with me report sick...
Field camp Day 5 (Feb 18)
Another day pass fast as I wake up late.. Do nth much... Rest enough n Had a gd talk with my PC- Warrant Mathi.... But hope to talk more with him but sth just held my lips... Hope to open up more... Today got someone accompany at night...
Field camp Day 6 (Feb 19)
Finally today can bathe... Had a wonderful bath... Slack the whole day counting rounds that are expended... Sleep in the cold night today...
Field camp Day 7 (Feb 20)
Today wake up damn early to collect rations for the COY... The rest of the day is spent on counting rounds tt are expended...
Field camp Day 8 (Feb 21)
Today is the last day we will at campsite 5... Today very busy cuz have to shift ard n alot of packing up... Cuz at abt evening, we shift to the next campsite- campsite 1... Slept at the 1.5 tonner...Today is the first day where we are exposd to our combat ration... But I have to say tt the ration wasn't tt bad...
Field camp Day 9 (Feb 22)
Today is the second day of combat ration... The COY all had hand greanade practice... N I was stoning there at the campsite 1... Learnt the art of stoning in camp...
Field camp Day 10 (Feb 23)
Today is the last day of camp n we are gg back to Pasir Ris Camp... Finally gg back camp... Miss mainland... Had fresh ration today for breakfast... At abt morning, I'm on a boat back to mainland...

Day 29 (Feb 11) Labels: Updates
Today is Chinese new yr day 3 n we r back in camp... So double sianz... Today we went to SAFTI for our IMT... Had a great fun playing the simulated SAR21 gun... It is computer simulated shooting someth like arcade... We spend the whole day there sia...
Day 30 (Feb 12)
Today is our second book out of the wk... The COY had SOC trial test today... Most of them do well... Glad to be home...

Update on my medical status... NS wk 5
On Feb 5 (Sat) Labels: Updates
After my book out, My mum want me to go see the doctor due to my prolonged cough tt haven recover since last yr... So went to CGH to see the doctor... Had an X-ray n the doctor diagnosed tt I was suffering from Bronchitis Asthma, as I have increased Perihilar Reticular Shadowing... Going to come back on Mar 2 for furthur review...
On Feb 7 (Mon)
Today wake up to go SGH to see the orthopaedic specialist refer by my MO for my leg injury... The doctor without asking anyth see the letter n Ask me to show him my leg den straight away say I need an operation to recover fast... Den he refer me to another appointment date with another doctor... After tt I was sent to X-ray my leg... Had 3 X-ray... Coming back on the Mar 3 to see the doctor n await for the final diagnosis...
Day 27 (Feb 7)
Went back to camp after the appointment... After tt went to report to my PC n MO to extend my medical status n endorse the letter by the doctor from CGH N SGH... The sergeant who tekan me last wk thought he will have a chance to takan me as he think I'm faking it... But after seeing the letter tt the doctor gave, he see the seriousness of my injuries n illness... Now he is lost at words... I told myself b4, he will wait n see tt I'm not lying n telling the truth... Now God has ans my prayer... Amen!!! Today do all the admin stuff in office...
Day 28 (Feb 8)
Today is the 16 km road march... Everyone had to wake up at 0330 for warm up... By 0400 everyone have to assemble at the parade square to be ready to march off... By 0500 they all start to march the route after the warm up session... I was in the office awaiting order... At abt 0600 I went to have my breakfast at the cookhouse n pack the food for the recruits at the road march... By 0630, the food was sent to the recruits, while the rest of the status ppl went back to bunk to have some rest n await furthur order... By 1100, the recruits march back to camp... They all change n prepare to book out... As today is Chinese New Year Eve... So happy as we book out at abt 1300...

Day 21 (Jan 31) Labels: Updates
Today is the most slack day cuz the whole day we had nth much to do... Was stoning ard the whole day as there wasn't any activities paln for us to do... In the afternoon, we had a draggy lecture on IFC... After tt the whole coy had speed training but I was excuse... Today was cool as we were given extra 1/2 hr more talk time...
Day 22 (Feb 1)
Today is SOC again but I was still on status... We had injection today which is to prepare us for our trip to tekong for field camp... N today is yet another day of doing nth...
Day 23 (Feb 2)
Suppose today is our swimming day but another platoon was taken there instead of us... So sad sia... Den our platoon had "light" PT lesson... It was damn shack n tiring for my platoon mates... As I was excuse from training, I sitted at aside n suddenly I was dosing off as I wasn't feeling well... Den I kena caught n kena tekan... But in the end was excuse to go to the office to do office work n do admin stuff... Today we had a leture on Guard duty n another lecture on leader's course... A very good talk by the OC... Get to know more abt NS... Hate two sergeant who kept finding fault on me... Bernard n William
Day 24 (Feb 3)
Today is the second SOC for the wk... But I was in the office doing admin... Had an enriching lecture den excuse from 12 km road march... My platoon mate were all so shack after the 12km road march... Prepare food for them... Today kena tease by my platoon instructors sia... Haresh & Lui... Sianz diao...
Day 25 (Feb 4)
Another worst day of these horrible week... Kena Bernard n William the two worst bastard on earth now... My life is gg hay-wire now... Going crazy and nutz soon... Hyper stress... Luckily most of my time is spend on doing sth for the Warrant Officers or else the Two sergeant sure gonna takan me like hell... I'm gg to get nervous breakdown soon... I better get my doctor's letters soon to shut them up... Conclusion, Worst day worst wk, Screw NS life now at these moment...
Day 26 (Feb 5)
Today finally is bk out day n I can get away from the Two irritating n threatening sergeant... Luckily sia..If ya notice this week contains alot of complaint... I reallly gg crazy n nutz liao... Sianz diao liao la... GG to see my doctor this wkend to sort all the thing out b4 returning back to camp to report... Dun need to book in on Sun ( so Happy dun need to see the two sergeant I think I am now damn scared to bump into them sia) as Mon I had an appointment with my specialist...
