Sharing of the day
Faith seen in our works

Abraham proved his faith first of all when he promptly obeyed God's call and left his own home and country to go out he knew not whither, simply following where God might lead. He proved his faith again when he was bidden to offer his only son as a burnt sacrifice, an offering to the Lord, and without question or remonstrance obeyed. It was after this that God said, "Now I know that thou fearest God, seeing that hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from Me." There is no need of words or protestations of faith where there are such acts of faith to attest it.

God can see faith. He can see it in the heart where it is exercised, even before there has been any expression of it in word or act; but here the emphasis lies on the fact that He sees it in act. He is pleased when we show our faith by our works. There are many prayers without words, and God sees them when He does not hear them. There is in the Bible at least one instance of God forbidding spoken prayer and commanding action instead. At the edge of the Red Sea He said to Moses, "Wherefore criest than unto Me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward." So we should learn to put our faith into instant act. There are times when we should stop praying, get up from our knees, and hasten out to duty. Praying for a friend in trouble is well, but it is a cheap and selfish and easy way of showing our love if he has needs that we can supply. Praying for missions is right, but it is no acceptable substitute for giving if we are holding the Lord's money in our hands. God wants to see our faith.

Faith is not juz a word but also an act. We have to prayer the prayer of faith n do it... Dun be like the scribes and pharisees who give loud prayer but nva do it. But we have to pray and do it as Faith is not juz words but also an action to God. God dun wan us to juz stay in our comfort zone waiting for Him to pour out His blessing onto Earth, whereas He wants us to start working instead of idling ard. If we wan sth to happen, we can't juz sit there and wait. We have to do sth to make it happen n come to past. For anyth tt is not fruitful n bearing the fruits will be cast away. So lets us put our faith into actions. Continue in Prayer and supplications n doing the will of God!!!

Day 29 in Ayer Rajah Camp!!!

Today was so damn busy... Alot of things to be done within a short time... Actually I wanna rest for the day as I'm gg to have services later n overnight prayer meeting in Church when night falls... But I was glad that I wasn't tt tired after all when I went to service and overnight prayer as the Lord's Grace and Mercy are upon me... Becuz truly this is the cry of my heart tt I wanna see miracles and transformation in my life... I wanna Bring God's Kingdom down onto Earth to bring His Tangible presence wherever I go... So I was really all out for God's Wisdom in my life n to reach out to the people!!! But I will say it is a really a gd service preach by my pastor!!! N tt the overnight prayer had really made me strong!!!

Today's sharing is by Rev. Kong of CHC
Title: 7 Steps To build God a Great House!!!

Isa 54:1-3
"Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman," says the Lord. "Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.
Enlarge, Stretch, Lengthen, Strengthen
We are to carry God's presence ard n be carriers of God's presence

1 Kings 6:1
And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth* year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.

God bring the Israelites out of Egypt is becuz Egypt is a place of limitations, a confine place, a place without vision, hope, a place of bondage.
So God bring them out of Egypt is to allow them to break free from the small limited mindset they had.

480 yr in the above verse means sth. It means 48 x 10 =480. 48 is actually the number of God's worship centers in Israel. And 10 is actually the ten commandment, the number for God.

1 Kings 6:2
Now the house which King Solomon built for the Lord, its length was sixty cubits, its width twenty, and its height thirty cubits.
It was a double potion from previous. The new house of God which Solomon built is bigger that the previous one which Moses bring for God in relates to the land size.
Jn 14:12
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Hag 2:9
"The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts. "And in this place I will give peace,' says the LORD of hosts."

In verse two the House of God is 30 cubits higher... It means that the number of services, ministries had grown not one time but 3x the previous glory n anointing. We got to be Strong in ministry and influence.

Point 1: Appointed
1 Kings 1:28-30
Then King David answered and said, "Call Bathsheba to me." So she came into the king's presence and stood before the king. And the king took an oath and said, "As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my life from every distress, just as I swore to you by the Lord God of Israel, saying, 'Assuredly Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place,' so I certainly will do this day."
King Solomon was appointed. We have to be faithful of our calling and appointment by God. As God is looking for a faithful servant no matter whether u r big or small, young or old as long u are faithful in carrying His presence ard...

Point 2: Anointed
1 Kings 1:34

There let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him king over Israel; and blow the horn, and say, 'Long live King Solomon!'
1 Kings 1:5
Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, "I will be king"; and he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
We have to be trained to reign God's Kingdom. As nth can substitute God's anointing. It is the presence and anointing of God tt will make you successful. And the presence of God travels thru the worship, And the power of God travels thru the faith you commits. U dun need to be like Solomon's half bro who exalted himself to reign as tt is not effective. The most effective is when u have God's anointing.
Heb 12:10
For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.

Point 3: Authority
1 Kings 1:33
The king also said to them, "Take with you the servants of your lord, and have Solomon my son ride on my own mule, and take him down to Gihon.
God anoint you and you will have the authority tt He has given u. U dun need special talent to be chosen but onli God's authority.

Point 4: Adherence
The greater the calling and anointing, the stricter the teaching and the greater the testing of ur faith.
Pro 1:1-2, 1:8 , 2:1 , 3:1-2 , 4:1-2 , 5:1 , 6:1-2 , 7:1-2 {Go to online bible to read the book of Proverbs}
Here is a place u can read from the bible on line Online Bible

From here u can see tt Solomon had went thru great teaching by his parent to follow according to God's words. So we have to go thru discipline and great discipleship to reign for God's Kingdom and Glory.

Point 5: Abundance
1 Kings 3:4
Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
1 Kings 8:62-63
Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before the Lord. 63 And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep . So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.

1 Kings 10:23
So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
We see that Solomon is generous in his giving and that he had more than enough, great abundance. So we got to be like him, be generous in our giving so that we can have abundance in God. As it is also more blessed to give than to receive.

Point 6: Asking
1 Kings 3:5
At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask! What shall I give you?"
1 Kings 3:6-9

And Solomon said: "You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"
Dun waste on temporary things but most impt and eternal thing- the gifts of God. Dun wait for luck to happen, But press in for God.
1 Kings 3:10-13

The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. Then God said to him: "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.
When God blesses, there is no limitation... He gives freely as long as u ask n seek Him... N ur hearts have to be open {Sharing ytd} We have to ask according to His will, He will surely bless u with great things

Point 7: An open heaven
God will withhold nth as long as u ask. Ask according to God's will. Do the will of God.
Jn 15:7-17
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Jn 15:14-16
You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
Isa 45:11
Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.
An open Heaven means a true genuine relationship with God. A trust system between u n God.

Day 28 (Apr 28) in Ayer Rajah camp!!!

Aiya today got VIP from China tt come to our camp for some exchange programs... The Chinese from China look so awkward from the attire they wear... I was like laughing my heads off... Today we didn't do much thing as all the officer were out to entertain the VIP... Kinda stone the whole day... Actually wanna donate blood today as there was a blood donation drive in camp!!! But the doctor advise me not to donate my blood as I had previous fainting session so he dun allow me to donate there n ask me instead to go to the centre to donate... So sad n damn annoy lor... Aiya can't be bother...

Divine power
Luke 5:17
The power of the Lord was present to heal them

It was not always so. Once we read that Jesus could not do any mighty works at a certain place. It is not said that He would not, but that He could not. If seems strange that could not should ever be written of the omnipotent Christ. Did He then have His weak times/hours? Were there times when the power fled from His arm? But we read on and find that the reason He could not do anything or mighty works at that time and place was because of the UNBELIEF of the people. Their hearts were shut against Him. He came with rich blessings in His hand to bestow upon them, and finding no reception had to carry them away again with a sad heart. So no doubt the reason the power of the Lord was so graciously present to heal at this time was because the people's hearts were open to take what He had to give. They met His compassion and love with faith, and the Divine power in Him wrought unrestrained.

We ought not to miss this lesson. There is never any want of power in Christ to bless us, and yet we may be near Him and still receive no blessing from Him. He may have come to us eager to impart the rich gifts of strength, comfort, joy, help, wisdom; and yet He may be unable to bestow them. We ourselves must be in condition to receive what He has to give, or the blessing cannot be bestowed. We can shut up our hearts so close as to keep the mighty Christ outside. Weak as we are, even the Divine omnipotence cannot compel any blessing into our lives. There must be willingness on our part to receive. It is because of our unbelief that the power of God is not always present to heal and to bless. Then whenever we have faith and are willing to receive what Christ will give, His power will be present to heal, and to pour all manner of rich blessings into our hearts and lives. He will never force us to accept His gifts.

I think this sharing is true as the gifts of God is truly Free of Charge but due to ppl's heart are hardened n their disbelief in God the Almighty tt shut away God's Great blessing for them... Jesus said b4 whoever believe in Me n receive Me as their personal Lord n Savior, whateva they ask in My Name, I will surely give it to them if they seek My kingdom first n My righteousness den all things shall be added unto them... Jesus is a very personal God... He comes to build our relationship with God, and to close the gap between us n God... He came to intercedes for us so tt we can go back to our Father, the creator of universe... He came for a reason so that we can live!!! He is here for a reason n cause so that whoeva believe in Him shall nva taste death but had everlasting life...

N friday had overnight prayer meeting...

Sharing of the day
"He could not be hid"

It never can be kept quiet long when Jesus gets into any house. He cannot be hid. The neighbours will soon find out that He is there. Have you eva wonder why? The people cannot keep the secret. They will let it out in a great many ways. They will show it in their faces. Those who have Christ in their home do not look like other ppl. There is a radiance or sunniness abt them when they come out that tells of an unworldly source of joy. There is sth about their speech, too, that lets out the secret; they cannot help talking abt their Guest. So, inspite of themselves, the family in whose house Jesus is will disclose the secret. Fragrant flowers cannot be concealed, and there is a fragrance abt Jesus that always reveals His presence. Light cannot be hidden, and there is so much light in Him that it shines out at every window and thru every chink and crevice of the house where He abides. Love itself is invisible, but wateva it dwells it produces such effects that its presence soon becomes known. It makes people gentle, kindly, thoughtful, unselfish, and fills them with new desires to do goes, and to serve and bless others. And wateva Christ is love is, in all its pervasive, transforming influence.

I think Christian are successful ppl is becuz we walk in the likeness of our creator n do wat Jesus did n spread His teaching n Love ard to others that they start to feel warmth.... Becuz of tt, in the new testament itself, It talks abt how Jesus was always with large crowd... These ppl are not here to just listen to Him preach the gospel of good news onli, they are also not there for the miracles Jesus is gg to perform... They draw near to Him is becuz He provide love n encouragement to them!!! For Jesus said b4, "He came to called the sinners to repentance n to receive His Love"

Sharing for the day!!!

"The Master touched him"

Luke 5:13
He put forth His hand and Touched him

This is abt Jesus cleansing a leper. None of the Jews would have done this. They kept the leper far off. To touch him would defile them. But Jesus was not afraid of leper by a word, for He stimes cured miles away. But the man needed a touch from a warm hand to assure him of love and sympathy. The touch left no taint of pollution on the Master, but it left the leprous body clean as a child's.

There are some who want to help others, if at all, at a convenient distance. They work through committees or agents. It is a great deal better to come close to those to whom we would do good. There is a wondrous power in a human touch. A gift to the poor may do good in whatever way it comes; but if you bestow it yourself, and manifest personal interest and sympathy, its value will be largely increased. You put sth of urself into your gift. The Gospel may save the fallen, though coming thru the cold air from a lofty pulpit; but it will be far more likely to save if the sinner feels the touch of a hand of love, and catches the message warm from quivering lips.

There is no danger of receiving defilement even from touching the worst outcasts, if you go to them with the love of God in your heart, yearning to do them good. Do not stand far off and toss the bread of life to them, as men throw gifts into leper hospitals. Do not slip your tract under the door and hurry away as if you were ashamed of wat you have done. Go to the homes of the worst ppl. Give them your hand; it will not soil it to clasp theirs, and you never can know wat a thrill of new life it may start in hearts long unused to tenderness, yet yearning for sympathy. Put heart and inspiration and life you may give to weary and disheartened ones.

I think wat shared above is kinda true not just for unbelievers of Christ but also within believers of Christ... Stimes we tends to neglect the most basic needs of human emotions... We stimes wanna help ppl ard us but yet we juz want to do it on the third parties position instead of participate in it to help the person personally from our hearts... Stimes it can actually made alot of differences when we step into a person's life... We shld spread God's love ard n shine His light in the darkness to bring HOPE into this broken down world where there are alot of ppl out there whom need the touch of us in their life to push them on in life... Stimes ourselves also need the simple touch but we can still start to help others even b4 we receive that touch... Understands the joy of helping others can also have u overcome things n learn things from these experiences... Be grateful of the things ard u... Give thanks daily to the Lord as He nva fails in fulfilling His promises to us...

Day 25 (Apr 25) Wk 6 in Ayer Rajah Camp!!!

Today is damn sianz n boring... But had a lot of stuff to do as I was helping my warrant officer to do his lesson plan until me head hurtz as I didn't sleep well the night b4... Den after finish tt, I was tasked another job by another warrant whom I feel he is damn lazy as he pass all his job to me- helping him to do a powerpoint presentation n closing the lecture room by myself... He is so irresponsible... Aiya I think huh these warrant officer are using their authority to order ppl ard which is so bad... Today was a bad day for me, as I was quite pissed with a lot of thing today tt had happen... But I dun wish to make a fuss here... I have decided to let it pass away... I shall meditate on God's word for Peace in my heart n shld not bear any hatred or anger in me...

This is sth I find interesting n would like to share with u guys...

" The Cracked Pot"

A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on the end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots was perfectly made and never leaked. The other pot had a crack in it and by the time the water bearer reached his master's house it had leaked much of its water and was only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishment. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologies to you." "Why?" asked the bearer."What are you ashamed of?" "I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your credit and efforts." the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path." Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half of its load, and so again the pot apologised to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "did you notice that there were flowers only on the side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and everyday while we walked back from the steam, you've waters them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, God will use our flaws to grace his table. In God's great economy, nth goes to waste. Dun be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them, and you too can be the cause of beauty. Know that in our weakness we find our strength.

I think wat I read is so true... A lot of times, we feel tt we are so sinful tt we rejected God becuz we knew we have some flaws tt we feel tt God shldn't care for us anymore as we have sin so much to Him... But I will say tt it is the Satan trying to sow deceive into ur heart... Actually God doesn't despise u, in fact He wan u more becuz of ur flawness... It is becuz He can use ur flaws into sth great in His Kingdom n to Fulfill His purpose thru u as u nva know God's great almighty power can do wonder n miracles.. So we have to continue to trust in God n depends on Him as He is our Source and Salvation... He wun look into ur flaws as a problems but instead He look at it as a opportunity to transforms u into a greater purpose to His plan for u...

As I was telling u guys last wk tt I gonna start sth useful to motivate ppl-- this is the start to my motivation to ppl out there... God has a purpose for u. Dun waste ur life, come to Him n u will nva regret ur lives again... But though being Christian as a start is hard (as it was nva easy) BUT we have to keep on believing in His promises for us... As the world may fades away but God's word n promises will nva fades away... His words is everlasting!!!

Type of bf/gf u shld lk out for!!!

LADIES...
Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the boy who kisses your forhead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

GUYS...
Find a girl who calls you baby faced instead of hot or sexi who can't stand it when you hang up on her and calls right back, who would sit there for hours looking into your eyes, who doesn't care what you look like, but what's inside counts the most, Who looks at you with the twinkle in her eyes and kisses you on the cheek instead of the lips, Wants to be with you in public, even if you wear those old grass stained and ripped pants with the bleached jersey like always, Wait for the girl who is a constant reminder of your happiness and joy, who makes you smiles just by knowing she loves you back. Wait for the girl who you give piggy back rides to in public and she still is in view of her friends, while she gets off and you hear her go: "you're the one for me, for always"

If you open this YOU have to repost it, guy or girlNO EXCUSES!!!

THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present "Seven Wonders of the World." Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:
1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list.
The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many." The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."
The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the 'Seven Wonders of the World'are:
1. To See
2. To Hear
3. To Touch
4. To Taste
5. To Feel
6. To Laugh
7. And to Love."
The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous!
A gentle reminder -->that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.
Don't be too busy to pass this along
Cos' all of e stars* will fade away,
Just try not to worry You'll see them someday...

We should learn to appreaciate the things ard us daily... Even the smallest thing ard... Understand tt God send us here for a purpose... To spread His Love to everyone here...
The greatest commandment is that U love the Lord Ur God with all ur Heart, Soul, Mind... N u love ur neighbours as urself...
