THE LAW OF POTENTIAL

1. Potential is UNEXPECTED ABILITY and hidden power.
Potential is dormant ability, reserved power, untapped strength, unused success, hidden talents, capped capability.
It is all you can be but have not yet become, all you can do but have not yet done, how far you can reach but have not yet reached, and what you can accomplish but have not yet accomplished.
2. GOD is the source of all potential.
God is Omnipresent
God is Omniscient
God is Omnipotent

3. Every great thing starts potentially with a “SEED IDEA.”
4. Nothing potentially great in life is ever INSTANT.
Heb. 11:3
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of thingswhich are visible.
5. Potential is released by HARD WORK.
6. To maximize potential, I need to use my talent and ability to its FULL CAPACITY.
7. Constant COMPARISION with others can harm potential.
2 Cor. 10:13 (TLB)
But we will not boast of authority we do not have. Our goal is to measure up to God’s plan for us, and this plan includes our working there with you.
Gal. 6:4 (TLB)
Let everyone be sure that he is doing his very best, for then he will have the personal satisfaction of work well done and won’t need to compare himself with someone else.

8. PAST EXPERIENCES can hinder faith and harm potential.
9. To maximize potential, I need to obey the LAW of LIMITATIONS.
Deut. 28:1
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth”.
10. Potential is maximized when you SHARE it with OTHERS.

Bitterness!!!

They departed from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, went three days’ journey in the Wilderness of Etham, and camped at Marah. They moved from Marah and came to Elim. At Elim were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there.
Number 33:8-9

In Numbers 33, Moses retraced the 40 encampments of Israelites in the wilderness. One of the major stopovers was Marah, which literally means “bitter”. Exodus 15:23 says, “Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.”

Every Christian must be prepared for disappointments in life. You might be disappointed with a person, with a situation or with what a person has done to you. Without knowing how to deal with disappointments, a believer can easily become bitter. Bitterness reproduces quickly and can be very, very dangerous to your mental and emotional well-being. The Bible warns us, “Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled” (Heb 12:15). Bitterness comes in when one fails to appropriate the grace of God to overcome a disappointment or a hurtful experience. Hurts inevitably come; but taking up offences is a choice. You can choose not to be offended and bitter.

When then is the key to overcome bitterness? Exodus 15:25 says that Moses “cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.” The key was in the tree - which is a type of cross. To gain victory over bitterness, we need to go to the cross. The cross speaks of three things:

(1) Self denial. You need to realize that you have no rights of your own. You must be willing to forfeit the right to condemn or exact vengeance on those who disappointed you.
(2) Forgiveness. This is an act of your will. Forgiveness involves both attitude and action. If you find it difficult to feel forgiving toward someone who has hurt you, try responding with kind actions. If appropriate, tell this person that you would like to heal your relationship. Give him a helping hand. Send him a gift. Smile at him. Many times you will discover that right actions lead to right feeling.
(3) Forgetting. We often cannot truly forgive unless we can forget. We need to ask God for the grace to forget the bitterness of disappointments. “Holy Forgetfulness” is tremendous. It keeps our spirit free! When someone says something against you, go quickly to God for your holy forgetfulness. Then we can look at that brother and shudder at what was said earlier.

Start practicing these steps right away so that you can triumph over the waters of Marah. Had anyone nva taste bitterness b4? I will say tt at times; I myself also experience some too. But I will say the grace of God is wonderful as through out my spiritual walk with Him, He has shown me the way n how things work out… He also taught me a lot thru signs and wonder in my lives… I remember I was once bitter against my mum, and when I put my trust in God to help me handle the situation, God really change my attitude and make me more willing to forget abt my past with my mum n change it for the better. Now my relationship with my mum was great. I will say every disappointment in life actually make u stronger when u do the above, however it can totally destroy u when u dun know how to handle it. R u willing to trust God in handling ur problems or r u still stubborn enough to want to do it on ur own? Also when ever u have bitterness in life, the devil can always use tt to stop u n hinder u from moving closer to God… The devil will use it to its advantage… In order not to let the devil win, we have to rely on God’s power. Cuz He is able to protects and defend u against the devil...

THE LAW OF ABILITY

Success is a choice! Prosperity is a choice too! It is based on the decision u make!!!
Eccl. 7:12-13 (NIV)
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor. Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what He has made crooked?
Eccl. 7:13 (TLB)
See the way God does things and fall into line. Don’t fight the facts of nature.
A lack of faith will stop you from entering into a place of rest, peace and order…

THE LAW OF THE HARVEST

1. Your SEED must be planted.
Gen. 8:22
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest ... shall not cease.”
2. What you sow is what you REAP.
Gen. 1:12
And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Gal. 6:7

... for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Your live n everything is a seed. When u sows it, u will reap it.
Mal. 3:10
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
3. The QUALITY you sow is the quality you reap.
An offer doesn’t means tt the person is obligated to receive or accept.
Mal. 1:8
“And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” says the LORD of hosts.
Prov. 3:9-10 (TLB)
Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines.
4. The MEASURE you sow is the measure you reap.
2 Cor. 9:6 (TLB)
But remember this—if you give little, you will get little. A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much.
Luke 6:38

“... For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
5. Sow TO your HARVEST SIZE not from your harvest size.
Gen. 26:1,12-13
There was a famine in the land ... Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous.
6. You must render your seed USELESS.
John 12:24
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
Dun give with ulterior motive, sow without conditions…
7. Your seed must be planted on GOOD GROUND.
Matt. 13:8
“But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Mark 10:29-30
So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house ... or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses ... and lands.”
Hag. 2:18-19
“Consider now from this day ... that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid—consider it: From this day I will bless you.”
8. The harvest always takes TIME.
Mark 4:26-27
And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow ...”
Gal. 6:9
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Eccl. 11:1

Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.
9. A part of your harvest is for SOWING AGAIN.
2 Cor. 9:8 (TLB)
God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not only be enough for your own needs but plenty left over to give joyfully to others.
2 Cor. 9:10-11 (TLB)
For God, who gives seed to the farmer to plant, and later on good crops to harvest and eat, will give you more and more seed to plant and will make it grow so that you can give away more and more fruit from your harvest. Yes, God will give you much so that you can give away much ...
10. God gives seed to the SOWER.
2 Cor. 9:10
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

THE LAW OF ABILITY
Deut. 8:18 “But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your forefathers, as it is today” (NIV).
1. Ability is the POWER, SKILLS or RESOURCE to accomplish something.
2. Life distributes to everyone ACCORDING to his or her ability.
3. God expects you to RAISE the LEVEL of your ability.
4. Ability is increased by USE.
5. Your ability always grows to the level of your DREAMS.
Prov. 18:9 (Amplified)
He who is loose and slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer and he who does not use his endeavors to heal himself is brother to him who commits suicide.
6. Inability has more to do with a BAD ATTITUDE.
(In life, we are possessors of nothing and stewards of everything.)

Your attitude determines ur altitude. Attutude is everything. Your attitude is ur mental n emotional capacity...
7. With ability comes HIGHER
RESPONSIBILITY
.
Responsibility = Respone to ability
Luke 12:48
“... to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”
8. As ability increases, so does the ATTRACTION of OPPORTUNITY.
Prov. 18:16
A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
9. Ability attracts ABILITIES.
10. Your ability is hindered or enhanced by the COMPANY you keep.

If u wan to be an eagle, u can't mix ard with turkey...
1 Cor. 15:33 (NIV)
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Qualifications 4 Leadership!!!

They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.
Leviticus 21:6

The call to spiritual leadership is a great privilege and honour. Good leaders propel people forward. Bad leaders pull people backward. In Leviticus 21:16-20, God spoke to Moses about the qualification of priests to serve in the house of God. Like the sacrifices that had to be free from defects, the priests were to typify Christ’s perfection (Heb 9:13-14).

There were 12 conditions given for the selection of priests. Although they were all physical conditions, they have spiritual applications for the contemporary believer today.
(1) No man who is blind. You have to be a person of vision and revelation. A leader leads from the front. If you don’t know what God is saying and where He is taking you, you can’t be a leader in the House of God.
(2) No man who is lame. God is holy. If you are not walking uprightly with the Lord, you can’t be His leader.
(3) No man with flat nose (KJV). In the Bible, the nose symbolizes spiritual discernment. A leader has to be a discerner of people’s hearts (Heb 5:14).
(4) No man with any limb too long. This speaks of those who are unbalanced in doctrine or those who have added teachings that are not of God. Such people would lead Christians astray.
(5) No man with a broken foot. Proverbs 25:19 talks about an unfaithful man as a person with a broken foot. A leader has to be reliable and trustworthy.
(6) No man with a broken hand. Such a priest can’t carry the vessels of the Lord in the tabernacle. His service would be faulty. A leader must have ability to serve God well.
(7) No man who is hunchback. A leader must be able to shoulder burdens. He must have a steely backbone to carry the weight of the ministry.
(8) No man who is a dwarf. Someone who is immature and stunted in his spiritual growth can’t be a leader in God’s house.
(9) No man with a defect in his eye. Jesus talks about being single-eyed (Matt 6:22, KJV). Being focused and determined to fulfil the vision of the Lord is a leadership qualification.
(10) No man with scurvy (KJV). This person is not properly nourished in his life. A leader has to feed on daily manna from heaven- The Word of God.
(11) No man with a scab. You can’t be a leader if your life is not spotless and without blemish. A leader of God must have proven character and a good reputation.
(12) No man who is a eunuch. A leader in God’s house must have the capacity to produce life and bring forth fruit.

SO above are the quality of a leader, understand tt though some of u may have some disability but it doesn’t means u can’t serve God anymore, cuz everyone has their own purpose… U may not be a leader, but u still can be a history maker in other’s lives… God will always use whatever u had n use it for His purpose… Cuz everyone is created y Him n He had already have planned what He is gg to do in ur life…

Purpose and Provision

God gives us a purpose and provision for our purpose.
Eph 1:4-5
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Jer 1:4-5
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
These passages show us that God has predestined us before the earth was formed, to live out His purpose for our lives.
But for God to fulfil His purposes in our lives, there needs to be a SURRENDERING.
Understand tt when there’s no surrendering, there is no filling.

What is purpose?
PURPOSE= original reason for a creation of a thing
So if you discover the purpose for a thing, you will know how to use it properly and not abuse it.

The purpose comes within it POTENTIAL.
The potential of a thing determines its purpose. And its purpose determines its potential.
You have within you what is required for you to produce and accomplish your purpose!!!

The TRUTH is : whatever God calls you for, He also provide for.
God never demands of us anything He has not already put in us. This means the minute God tells you to do something, be it in the written word or the spoken word in the spirit, He is also telling you that you can do it!!!

What does God think about our potential?
Philip 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Because knowing your purpose only tells you it is possible, but not easy!!!
1 Thess 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
So step out in faith. Believe God and also in yourself that the potential for greatness is in you!!!

Mark 16:15-18 {The Great Commission}
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
This assignment that God gives to us is giving us a hint… When God tells us what we can do, we mustn’t limit Him…

Conclusion
James 1:25
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does
James 1:22

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Dun juz believe you can do great things in God, start getting into action and do something to become great!!! It is gg to take everyone with the same attitude of the “mightiest of the mighty men” to make this happen!!!

Those called to be the mightiest of the mighty in the Kingdom are/will:
1. Loyal to His cause
2. Committed to His vision

3. Giva all they have to Him
4.Sacrifice their best to Him

Welcoming the Lost!!!

It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.
Luke15:32

Jesus was often accused by the Pharisees for being too welcoming with sinners like drunkards, prostitutes and tax collectors. To that, Jesus gave three parables: (1) the parable of the lost sheep, (2) the parable of the lost coin, (3) the parable of the lost son.

Jesus doesn’t believe in a “token hunt” for the lost. He doesn’t believe in just walking through the harvest field proclaiming that harvest time has come. Jesus believes in the actual ingathering of the lost. As a Good Shepherd, Jesus counts the sheep in His flock everyday. In church, they count people because people COUNT!!! Every number represents a life that Christ died for on the cross. Without counting, how could a shepherd know if any of his sheep is missing? A good shepherd would “go after the one which is lost until he finds it” (Luke 15:4).

A conscientious woman who has lost a silver coin would “light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it” (Luke 15:8). Soul-winning is too important a task to be left to half-hearted, token efforts.

In the parable of the prodigal son, after feeding the swine in the pigsty, the son finally came to his senses. He would go home to his father and confess his sins to him. He would then make amends by working as a hired servant. There was true repentance and a desire to make restitution. When the lost son was still a distance from his home, his father saw him. For many months now, dad has been standing by the gate everyday, waiting for his son to come home. And when the father met him, he hugged the son, gave him the best party in town. Unfortunately, the elder son didn’t share in the celebration. He was unhappy about the fuss made over the return of his lost brother.

Have you ever wondered what might have happened if the elder brother greeted the prodigal son first at the gate? His holier-than-thou attitude would have forever driven him back to the pigsty! It would have confirmed the negative bias that sinners like him could never start life afresh. Thank God it was the merciful father and not the harsh elder brother who greeted him at the door.

The three parables of Luke 15 tell us this: (1) soul-winning is serious work, (2) soul-winning is dedicated work, (3) soul-winning is compassionate work. Watch your attitude the next time you meet people who are really “messed up” in life. Your attitude can give them the faith they need to start life afresh, or drive them further away from God. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Yes, I think the above sharing is true n also tell us we shld reach out to the lost… We shld be like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, who doesn’t care abt the past n yet yearns for the son to return, n when he did return, we will embrace them n welcome them back… Do u know everytime a sinners is save, the whole of heaven rejoice? Let us not be like the elder brother who judges on his brother, who is like Satan who kept on reminding us of our wrong… But always know tt the Lord is merciful, He is like our father in the prodigal son, He will always be there for us…

The Art of Jesus Soul-winning Style

Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
Luke 5:3

In Luke 5, Jesus was preaching on the shore of Lake Gennesaraet. The crowd was listening intently to Him. But at the corner of His eye, Jesus saw a group of fishermen- Simon Peter and his unsaved friends. They had no interest in spiritual things. Jesus may have been conducting a huge beach rally, but as far as Simon Peter was concerned, he was simply uninterested with whatever the crowd was doing. Simon Peter and his friends were the typical unreached and unchurched sinners of the world. They were only interested in their own livelihood. They had families to feed and bills to pay. They were only concerned about their own survival.

How did Jesus reach out to an uninterested generation? He became a caring soul-winner. Jesus stepped into Simon Peter’s boat. By doing that, He immediately got into “Peter’s world.” The first step in making a difference in a person’s life is to get into his or her world. On the shore, Jesus was standing; but in the boat, He was sitting down. That means Jesus was not in a hurry. He was planning to fellowship for a while. At that point, Simon Peter was very discouraged. He and his team had “toiled all night and caught nothing” (Luke 5:5). Jesus immediately saw a need and started encouraging Simon Peter. He motivated Peter to try fishing again; this time, with the help of God.

I have found that no matter how hardened a person may be as an unchurched sinner, when he or she experiences your loving sincerity in (1) spending time to befriend them, (2) encouraging them by giving them a new vision and fresh hope, and (3) meeting their needs practically, then a fourth thing will naturally happen. (4) Peter gave His heart to Jesus and was wonderfully saved.

This is Jesus’ style of personal evangelism: First, you win them over as your friends. Then you win them over to the Lord. Try it for yourself this week.

Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”
Luke 10:2

The most important day for any farmer is the day of harvest. If you are a farmer, you would never lock yourself in your house when the field is already white for harvest. So in Luke 10, Jesus says, “GO, mix and mingle with the lost, the unchurched.” And He sent out His disciples to do four things:

First of all, we are to bless the Lost (Luke 10:5) - even when they look like “wolves”! Why must Jesus specifically instruct us to bless the lost? Because Christians have the tendency to “curse” our neighbours. “Huh, that fat lady, she is drunk again? It will only be a matter of time before her stomach explodes!” “Look at that neighbour of mine, having his wild parties again. What a pervert! He surely fry in hell!” Christians sometimes be so mean-spirited and condescending toward the unsaved that they end up judging and condemning them. To “bless” means to speak well of, to encourage and to praise. Learn to do all these things as you seek to befriend the unchurched.

The second thing that you should do is to fellowship with them (Luke 10:7). Do things together. Become friends. Relate to one another. You don’t have to squeeze in the Four Spiritual Laws each time you meet the lost. Win them over through your friendship. Some Christians get very nervous about mixing with non-Christians. Jesus did not ask you to condone the lifestyle of the sinners. All He wants is for you to accept people the way they are, without necessarily approving of their lifestyle.

The third thing that you should do is to meet their needs practically (Luke 10:9). Heal the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked and lift up the downtrodden. Boldly step into the dimension of the Holy Spirit and ask God to touch them - especially in the area of healing. Unbelievers have lesser problems with prayers than believers. Their minds are usually not contaminated by wrong, religious theology. They are not going to ask, “Is healing for today?”

When you have blessed the lost, spent time to fellowship with them and met their needs, the fourth thing would naturally happen: preach the gospel to them. Their hearts are now very ready to hear the preaching of the good news. As you first win the lost over with your friendship, you will find it easy to win them to the Lord. Try this four step method this week.

It is important we are to equip with Jesus’ style of soul-winning whereby we touch ppl’s lives so tt they can open themselves more to the Lord… Remember, Jesus nva want us to force ourselves on other but HE wants us to reach out to them with a peace loving hearts so tt they can feel n experience God’s presence… Remember tt Christianity is not a religious thing but a relationship with God, our Father of Almighty… How r u reaching out to the ppl, examine ur way, is it like Jesus or is it like the scribes and Pharisees. R we gg to say to this sinners tt if they dun believe in Christ, they will nva receive salvation, or r u gg to tell them no matter wat they do, God will forgive them if they put their trust in God n believe in Him… Which way is easier to reach out to the lost? I will say it is the latter as God wan us to tell the lost tt He is a merciful God and He is willing to even embrace the sinners if only they could come to Him… So r u leading the lost to Him or r u scaring the lost away from Him?

A Boy and his lunch!!!

Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the nultitude.
Luke 9:16

The “Feeding of the 5,000” is the only miracle of Jesus that is recorded in all four Gospels. In that story, Jesus faced some very real problems. There was a very large crowd present that day. If you include the women and children, there could have been anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000 that evening. The people were hungry as they had been out in the middle of the desert all day to hear Jesus preach. Jesus desperately needed a miracle at that moment. From this story, you can find four important keys to experiencing a miracle in your own life.

Key #1: You must admit that you have a need and you want God’s help. More than 20 times in the New Testament, we are commanded to ask-“Ask, and it shall be given to you”! But many Christians find this difficult. We don’t like to admit our problems. We would rather hide them, cover them up, blame others, or simply pretend that our problems don’t exist. Yet, in our heart of hearts, we usually end up worrying and getting stressed over them.

Key #2: You have to assess what you already have. Take a reality check: “What have I got? How am I using what I’ve got?” You may feel that what you have is too little, too small, or too insignificant; that it is impossible to meet the need at hand. But God loves to make the impossible possible!

Key #3: Give God whatever you have. As the Son of God, Jesus could have just rained manna down from heaven. But God always works with what we have. A little boy came forward with his lunchbox and said, “Jesus, I have five loaves of bread and two little fish.” Andrew had so little faith in Jesus that he asked, “lord, how can so little food feed such a great crowd?” (John 6:8-9). What Andrew didn’t understand is that when we give Jesus the available, He will do the impossible. God likes to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. That little boy gave willingly, cheerfully and immediately. God loves a willing, cheerful and immediate giver.

Key #4: Expect God to multiply it. Everybody ate till their hearts’ content and they had 12 baskets of leftovers. Why 12? Perhaps so that the 12 disciples could each carry one basket back to the little boy’s house and learn their lesson for failing the test of faith.

Hei if u notice this wk the sharing is more on Giving n Gaining in Giving… Why is it so??? Cuz I wan u guys to open ur mind n heart n understand How God always move in the opposite principle of the World… The world says the more u gives, the less u have; however in God’s principle, the more u gives, the more u will be blessed… God is no a God of lack but of abundant, He will bless those who bless others, He will nva shortchange u… Try applying these four simple keys today and see God perform awesome miracles in your life… Nva underestimate God… Sarah in the Old Testament doubt God will give her a son. But God reply was “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Gen 18:14)… See God is trying so hard to let us know tt He is a giver, a blesser, a God of abundant, a God of supernatural ability n always move in the extraordinary way…

R u willing to trust in God n Let Him be in control of ur lives? When u give urself to Jesus, He is able to use u in ur own uniqueness to reach out to the world… U see how Jesus uses the little boy’s faith in Him n perform a miracles in the little boy’s giving to touch the lives of people with Him, isn’t it amazing… The little Boy is like the poor widow who give their very best to the Lord n hoping tt the Lord will takes care the rest of it… So how willing n trusting u r to the Lord? R u gg to be like the poor widow n the little boy or like Andrew who doubts the Lord’s ability… The Lord also says he who is faithful in the little things in life will become great in life… R u careful in the little things in ur life which the Lord can use to change ur lives n give u a better purpose in life?

The PoWeR of Tithing!!!

And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord.
Leviticus 27:30

The principle of tithing is so important because it is the most basic Bible test of your faithfulness in stewardship. It also qualifies or disqualifies you from God’s wealth and abundance. Tithing preaches the Mosaic Law because Abraham was a faithful tither long before the law was established on Mount Sinai. When he met Melchizedek, he “give him a tithe of all” (Gen 14:19-20). Abraham’s faithful stewardship resulted in him becoming the richest man of his generation.

Jacob was a tither too. When he came to Bethel, he made a vow to the Lord, “Of all that You give me, I will surely give a tenth to You” (Gen 28:22). Jacob’s faithful stewardship also resulted in him becoming the richest man of his generation.

Abraham and Jacob prove that saints of God started tithing long before Moses gave the law. Tithing has to do with your heart and love for God. You tithe not because you have to, but because you want to. When Moses eventually came along, the people were taught tithing.

At the end of the Old Testament, Malachi the prophet says, “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,’ says the Lord of Hosts” (Mal 3:10-11). Here, the Bible gives you five great blessings that you can experience if you tithe regularly:

(1) Your church will continue to be a blessing. The storehouse in Church will be full, enabling it to continue discipling you and evangelizing the world.
(2) Heaven will be open over you. You will hear from the Lord clearly. You can easily walk in His presence and His power will become readily available to you at all times.
(3) The devourer will be rebuked. God will protect your finances from being “eaten away” by Satan and the financial system of the world.
(4) Your hard work will bear fruit. Your career will take off and you will prosper in you work place.
(5) Your investments will prosper. The wise investments you make will bring back a good return.

Be a regular tither every month and “try God now” in your faithful giving! Remember tt God will nva shortchange u in life… The more u give to Him, the more He will give it back to u… Cuz there is no lack in the presence of God… He will surely bless u in ur giving… God care how much u give to Him as every giving is a sacrifice u make for GOD… So how much r u willing to sacrifice for Him? Make a choice now!!!

Had an experience b4 on How God can really bless you… There was once where God challenges me to give more than I wanted to… It was really a big sacrifice I made for God… I was initially wondering how am I gg to cope for the rest of the week if I’m giving all tt I have now to Him… But as I trust my faith in God, n move in His spirit, God start to do great thing in my life… Some of u may think tt it is a coincidence, but I will say if coincidence happen all the time, u will not need God… I will say it is no coincidence as it does not juz happens once but a lot of time… While I was struggling with money, God really nva short change me as in the next few days time, I receive a lot of blessing from ppl ard me… Tithing is an act of faith n how far u r willing to trust God in ur giving… so ppl r u daring enough to trust God in ur giving?

God cares how much you Give!!!

So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, bur she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”
Mark 12:43-44

One time when Jesus walked into the temple, He watched how the people put their money into the offering. He saw many who were rich put in much. But what moved Jesus deeply was the attitude of a poor widow. Jesus said that the poor widow who sacrificed her two mites was the most generous giver of all, because her gift was large in proportion to her available money supply. Jesus was moved by her giving.

Money is a spiritual subject. God cares how much or how often you give into His house- Your Church. Otherwise, He wouldn’t have included so many instructions in the Bible concerning the methods, the time and the proper attitudes for giving… He instructs on the specific day of giving: “On the First day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper” (1 Cor 16:2). He cares about the quantity of your giving: “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Cor 9:6). Most of all, He cares about the quality of your giving. When the rich “tipped” God out of their abundant, it didn’t move Jesus at all. But when the poor widow “put in all that she had, her whole livelihood,” it touched the Lord greatly.

Most of us are afraid to talk about money. But more than 20 percent of the Holy Scriptures deals with money, wealth, finances, property, land, possessions, tithes and giving. The Bible is clear that “the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Pro 10:22). David says, “Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (Ps 35:27). If you read Deuteronomy 26:1-12, you will see that God says tithing and giving offerings are specific worship services before Him.

Money is also an effective tool to help bring the gospel to the lost throughout the world. When you put your money to good use according to biblical principles, it becomes a sacred thing.

Your money is your life. Every month when you are paid, the salary you receive is your employer’s way of reimbursing you for the part of your life that you have spent in service to him. As a saint n servant of God, when you give part of your holy life to your employer, the money he gives you in return is holy money.

Money is a spiritual matter. Be a good and faithful steward in managing it.

I wanna make it clear tt Jesus wants us to prosper, but He also wan us to know tt money is not the cause of everything n tt the more u give for His purpose, the more He will bless u back… Cuz God will nva shortchange us… Jesus also said b4 in the bible tt it is more bless to give den to receive… God has empowered the Hero in the Bible with wealth so that they can be a blessing to other… If u read the Bible, u will see How God has prospered Abraham den follow by Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, King David, King Solomon… God has empowered and prospered them so tt they can bless other too… The more u sacrifice n give to God, the more we(the Church) can reach out to the world… When God see u sacrifice n do His purpose, He will nva shortchange u but will bless u more, so tt u can give even more… God is a good God, He will bless whoever does His Work…

“He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Cor 9:6).

The Law of Purpose

Acts17:26
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
Eccl. 3:1
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

1. Everything in life has a PURPOSE.
Nth in life is ever wasted. God will fully maximise everything. Every challenges u have in life takes u into another level. God waste nth. Everything brings forth fruits in due season.
Rom. 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Eccl. 3:11 (Amplified)
He has made everything beautiful in its time; He also has planted eternity in men's hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose, working through the ages which nothing under the sun, but only God alone can satisfy] ...
2. My purpose is in the MIND of God.
Jer. 29:11 (NIV)

2 Tim. 1:9
Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

4. Where purpose is not known, ABUSE is inevitable.
5. My ABILITY and NATURE predict my purpose.(Natural inclination.)

God always use sth U already had when u r born with, to help u determine ur purpose in life. It is always accompany by wat you already had that God will use to transform you and maximise it for His purpose.
6. What I have a PASSION for predicts my purpose.
Prov. 18:16
A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.
You will nva be poor if it is God's given purpose. U will nva put a person down if he or she are pursuing their passion.

7. Purpose brings with it the ANOINTING for maximum success.
Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

God fills you with the Holy Spirit to give you a purpose. Nth happen by chance. everything is specific in God's plan. Everyone had a role to play, a contribution to give.
The anoiting is the power to perform excellence. Anointing is a Maximum performance.
8. My purpose will PROSPER me and the KINGDOM of God.
As the purpose prosper inside you, it will prosper out of u.
9. Where myTALENTS and the NEEDS of the world intersect, therein lies my purpose.

To Live in God's purpose, you must not be afraid to scarifice by faith!!! God will nva shortchange you... God is nva late nor early but always reward u in due time n on time...

Making the Differences

And he stood between the dead and the loving; so the plague was stopped.
Numbers 16:48

In Numbers 16, 250 Israelite leaders joined Korah, Dathan and Abiram in a rebellion against Moses. They were jealous of Moses’ authority and leadership. They wanted equal rights for all the leaders. Personally, Korah wanted a position and ministry that God had not given him. There is always a tendency to downgrade the pastor in a church. But while the pastor is an elder, not all elders are pastors. You can’t put Moses on the same level as Korah, and you can’t put Korah on the same level as Moses.

So the people start to rebel. This rebellion was a serious attack, not only it is against Moses but also against God Himself. The earth then opened up and fire came from heaven to consume the 250 leaders. The next day, the sympathizers of the rebels started murmuring against Moses. They felt that Moses and God were too harsh to Korah and the 250 men. By criticizing them, they were in effect saying that they had more compassion than God. The Lord immediately spoke to Moses, “Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” A plague swept through the people and 14700 men began falling down dead. Aaron quickly took a censer, and with some fire from the alter, ran into the midst of the people and started making atonement for their wrongdoing. He stood between the living and the dead. And where he stood, the plague stopped. (Num 16:48-49).

Who was Aaron? He was just one man in the midst of a terrible plague that was killing the multitude. He was an elderly man who was too old to exert himself. He was a man who bore the scars of failure in both ministry and life. Yet, he ran to the altar, caught some fire and stood between the living and the dead. And where he stood, the plague stopped.

The essence of Christianity is simply loving God and loving people (Matt 22:36-40). If you are willing to go to God’s alter, catch the fire of compassion, and stand between the living and the dead in your community, you can stop the ravages of sin and death. Can one man make a difference? Aaron was a man of limited abilities. He was a man marked with many public failures. But when he caught the fire of compassion, he stood between the living and the dead and made the differences. With God’s compassion in your heart, you too can make a difference in your world.

So R U willing to make a difference in your life? R u willing to go the extra mile n get out of ur comfort zone to do God’s will? R u willing to be like Aaron making a difference between the living and the dead? Jesus said in the Bible to follow Him, u have to put aside all thing n carry the cross n follow Him… R u willing to give up all n follow Jesus? Cuz Jesus also said when u follow Him, anything u ask in His name, He will give it to u, as long as u follow Him, He will make u the head n not the tail, above and not beneath, n He will surely prospers u in ur gg in n coming out… This is the promises He gave, R u gg to believe in Him?
The decision is on u… The choice is urs…

Dun Limit Yourself

Than Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
Numbers 13:30

In Numbers 13, the children of Israel had come to Kadesh Barnea, the border of the Promised Land. Moses sent out 12 spies to check out the land. Ten of them came back with a bad report, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great statures. There we saw the giants; and we are like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight” (Num 13:32-33).

U must always remember tt there are always “giants” in our life. The greater the level you soar, the bigger the devil. Paul says that the life of faith is a good fight (1 Tim 6:12). It is “good” because when we put our trust in the Lord, we will win at the end of every bout. But still, to win in life, you must be willing to fight. There is no greater fear than fear itself. There is a difference between the fear of the Lord and phobia. Godly fear is reverence toward God, the desire to please Him and cautiousness not to displease Him in any way. This is a good fear that leads to wisdom and faith.

On the other hand, a phobia is a crippling and horrifying dread. Phobias lead to worry, anxiety and paranoia. Fear of men, circumstances and evil spirit paralyze you from possessing you dream. God says, “Fear not, for I am with you.” (Is 43:5)

Without faith, the children of Israel spiralled downward into widespread panic and hysteria when they heard about giants in the Promised Land. The first thought that came into their mind was, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt” (Num 14:4). Whenever there was trouble, they wanted to go back. They may have gotten out of Egypt but Egypt had not gotten out of them.

The word “Egypt” in Hebrew means to be hemmed in, or to be limited. The Israelites came out of the harsh bondage of Egypt where their lives, dreams, future and opportunities were severely limited. God broke those shackles of limitations and gave them freedom. But mentally, their thought pattern was still one of doubt and fear. Wat happen den in the end? They “limited the Holy One of Israel” (Ps 78:41). Apart from Joshua and Caleb, that entire generation of doubters didn’t enter the Promised Land.

Faith puts no limit on God, and God puts no limit on faith. Remember, God “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph 3:20). The moment you succeed in breaking a limitation in your mind, there is no question whatsoever that God can follow through and make that thought a reality in your life.

U all will notice tt this sharing look a bit familiar if u follow my daily devotion here… Yes n Amen tt our God is limitless, thus He is always able to show great abundance n miracles to us and tt we will be able to glorified His works on Earth n share it to other… If u keeps on believing in the wonderful n magnificent n all powerful God, u can always be able to put ur trust in God, n He will always be able to bless u back abundantly according to ur faith in Him… Ur mindset is impt and it is also a determinant of ur ability to perform… So dun let the “giants” in our lives limit us not let us falls back to our comfort zone “Egypt”, but let us cast on all our faith in Jesus who will prepare greater n better things for us all…
