Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38
Why did God choose Mary above all the other women? It wasn’t because of her education, since she didn’t have any. It wasn’t because of her wealth, since she was poor. It wasn’t because she was mature, since she was just a teenager. What was so special about Mary was her plain ordinariness. God took an ordinary woman and used her in an extraordinary way. When the angel of God first appeared to Mary to announce her conception, Mary was shocked, confused and probably scared to death. Running through her mind was the fear of criticism: “What would everyone think?” There was the fear of supernatural: “What would happen to me physically?” There was the fear of inadequacy: “How can I handle this?” There was also possibly the fear of change: “how would this mess up my future?” These fears have the potential to cripple your life and destiny in God. Mary had many fears and considerations. But in spite of her fears, she chose to trust in God. Faith is not the absence of fear. In fact, faith wouldn’t be faith without the presence of fear and doubt.
So what kind of person does God use?
First of all, God uses people who desire to do His will. You must wan to do His will more than anything else. God has a plan for your life but that plan is not automatic. You can miss that purpose and opportunity when it is presented to you. When Gabriel presented God’s plan to Mary, she responded with great enthusiasm and humility. Her attitude in life determined her altitude in God.
Secondly, God uses people who decide to pay the price. Being the mother of the Saviour would cost Mary her reputation, comfort and even possibly her life. Her pregnancy, seemingly out of wedlock, could have warranted a death penalty for the suspicion of sexual immorality. Yet, in Mary’s mind, no price was too high to pay to do God’s will.
Finally, God uses people who dare to trust His promises. Mary responded by saying, “Let it be to me according to your word.” Mary praised, worshipped, prayed and confessed the rhema(Word of God) that was given to her. She stretched her faith and went after God’s promise to her in all its fullness.
God can always move in the extraordinary way n use simple ppl to do great thing for His kingdom… Thus we have to be like Mary, putting our trust in Him… N willing to scarifies for God… R u willing to put your trust in Him? R u gg to place your life on the alter of God? R u willing to let God use u in a greater way? Start from today by seeking the Lord in everyth u do… Seek First the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added to you. (Matt 6:33)
If his offering is a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord… And the priest shall burn all on the alter as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. Leviticus 1:3, 9
There are five offerings in Leviticus that speak of the sacrifices Jesus made on the cross. With the exception of one, all the offerings mention are sacrifices that involve the shedding of blood. Each portrays a certain aspect of Christ and our spiritual walk with Him. All aspects of those offerings are given in great detail. Nothing is left to the imagination and private interpretation of men. The first of the five offerings in Leviticus is the burnt offering. It is the freewill offering in which one would offer his best possessions to the Lord. Four items of an animal must be placed on the alter, to be consumed by fire: (1) The head, which speaks of our thoughts and aspirations. (2) The fat, which speaks of the extras that God has prospered us with. (3) The internal entrails, which speak of our deepest feelings. (4) The legs, which speak of our spiritual walk. All these areas of our lives must be yielded, purified and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Christ is our burnt offering. He came into the world as a man, not to do His own will, but to fulfil the will of the Father who sent Him. He has “given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma” (Eph 5:2). He has willingly surrendered His total self – body, soul and spirit – to do the will of His heavenly Father, and to complete it victoriously.
But the burnt offering is also about you. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from the dead works to serve the living God?” (Heb 9:14). While you are not saved by works, you are saved for good works.
The burnt offering speaks of your personal consecration as a vessel for God’s use. Paul beseeches you to “present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” (Rom 12:1). Like Jesus, when you willingly submit your life to do God’s will in your generation, you become a Holy Spirit fired-up offering. You are now a sweet-smelling aroma to the Lord.
This sharing above is to talk abt how we can live a life tt is being fruitful and place our life on the alter of sacrifices to the Lord… We have came thus far in our belief n understand how God can prospers n deliver us in times to come, now is the time we start to do sth for the Lord…
A Song to go with the topic
COME AND FILL ME HOLY SPIRIT I SEEK THE WARMTH OF YOUR EMBRACE LORD I’M LONGING FOR YOUR PRESENCE JUST ONE TOUCH OF YOUR GRACE I’LL KEEP ON WAITING. WAITING ON YOU ALL MY LIFE I’VE SEARCHED FOR HEAVEN MY HEART IT LONGS FOR SO MUCH MORE A LOVE SO TRUE, NOW I’VE FOUND IT IN YOU
I'LL KEEP ON WAITING, WAITING ON YOU {CHORUS} LORD I GIVE MY LIFE A LIVING SACRIFICES I PLACE AT YOUR FEET I OFFER TO YOU FOR ONLY YOU CAN SATISFY MY LONGING JESUS YOU’RE ALL I DESIRE LORD I GIVE MY LIFE A LIVING SACRIFICES I PLACE AT YOUR FEET MORE THAN WHAT THIS WORLDS OFFERS YOU’RE MY ONLY TREASURE MY WORLD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT YOU…
When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Mark 8:34
To be a disciple of Jesus requires you to make a threefold decision. First of all, you need to deny yourself. This means you have to humble yourself and forsake all personal, selfish ambitions. This doesn’t mean you need to take a vow of poverty or celibacy. But it does mean that you must be willing to put God’s will above your own. In desiring to do His Father’s will and purpose, Jesus emptied Himself of His glory and splendour, humbling Himself fully in obedience to God. Self denial is often a major obstacle to the talented, educated and wealthy. By their own abilities and connections, they can seemingly accomplish so much in life. Can you trust God enough to surrender all your talents and heart’s desires completely to Him in exchange for His plan and purpose for your life? Can you give Jesus all of you in exchange for all of Him?
Secondly, to be a disciple, you must be willing to take up your cross. The cross speaks of the place of sacrifice. The first time the word “love” is mentioned in the Bible, we see Abraham willingly placing his son Isaac on the alter of sacrifice (Gen 22). Love always requires sacrifice. God loves you so much that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for your sins. Do you love Him enough to do the same? To willingly sacrifice your time, talents, money and life for His cause?
Thirdly, to be a disciple of Jesus requires you to follow Him unreservedly. In the end-times, God is looking for those “who follow the Lamb whenever He goes” (Rev 14:4). Many people would happily follow the Good Shepherd to “lie down in green pastures, beside the still waters.” But few are willing to follow Him “through the valley of the shadow of death” (Ps 23:1-4). Following Jesus requires determination, discipline, dedication and devotion.
With just 11 disciples, Christ changed the whole world. He wants to do the same with you today. Deny yourself. Take up the cross. Follow Him. Be a true disciple of Jesus.discipleship of discipleship is not tt bad... But it is how u perceive it... know that the tresure u lay here is only temporary
Then He answered and told them, "Indeed, Elijah is coming first and restores all things. And how is it written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt?" Mark 9:12
It was very difficult for the disciples to grasp the idea that their Saviour would have to suffer. The Jews who studied the Old Testament prophecies expected the Messiah to be a great king like David, who would overthrow the enemy, Rome. But their vision was limited to their own time and experience. If Jesus hadn’t suffered and died, we would have died in our sins. Through His suffering, Jesus completed the work necessary for our salvation. Through His suffering, Jesus fully identified with us. We know that Jesus understands our struggles because He faced them as a human being. We can now trust Him to help us survive our trails and overcome life’s temptations.
Suffering is one of the unavoidable passages of life. Some people think that troubles are always caused by sin or lack of faith. But trails are often a part of God’s plan for believers. Jesus never promised that His followers would not suffer (Luke 21:17-19). Instead He said we will have to suffer for His sake…
Suffering brings a number of benefits: (1) It may be an opportunity for you to practice submission before God. (2) It can build in your character (James 1:2-4) and patience (Rom 5:3-5). You can’t really know the depth of your character until you see how you react under pressure. (3) You start to become sensitive toward others who may also be facing troubles (2 Cor 1:3-7). It is easy to be kind to others when everything is going well, but can you still be kind when others treat you unfairly?
God’s will is to make you mature and complete, not to keep you free from pain. Instead of complaining about your struggles, you should see them as opportunities for growth. Often, your troubles may be a sign of effective Christian living on your part.
Finally, God does not expect us to enjoy suffering. Only days after telling the disciples to pray that they might escape persecution, Jesus Himself asked God to spare Him the agonies of the cross, if that was God’s will (Luke 22:41-42). It is abnormal to want to suffer, but as Jesus’ followers, we should be willing to suffer if by doing so, we can help build God’s kingdom. We have two wonderful promises to help us persevere when we suffer: God will always be with us (Mat 28:20), and He will one day rescue us and give us eternal life (Rev 21:1-4).
As mention earlier in the previous post… This is a part of preparation for the second coming of the Lord…We have to get ourselves ready n strong for the Spiritual warfare with the devil… We have to be strong in the Spirit n Word of God… This is the price of discipleship… Why we suffer is becuz the world does not conform with the Christians… N wat we do is not to glorify ourselves but God in heaven… Knowing tt one day the Lord will reward us in all our doing… Understand tt we Christian are like all men, but the difference is tt we had a mighty God on our side, our treasure n reward are from Him n in Him… He is our strength n refuge… In our suffering we also learn to depend on the Lord more, as the more we yearn n desire of Him, He will deliver us n show us the way, and prosper us… Remember we can nva short-change God cuz he will nva short-change us…
This is a story I wrote for my short story essay in my JC life... The topic is abt a brush pass of Love... It talk abt how love can be just come n go so easily n yet bring alot of fond memories... How I wish my love live can be sth like these... But how I wish to find my true love... But I'm more than glad tt I have God in me... He is the one I desrie the most as He is always there...
Watch there fore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning – lest, coming suddenly, he fins you sleeping. Mark 13:35-36
The most important truth for all believers with regard to the second coming of Christ is that we must be personally prepared and ready for Jesus’ return. In 2 Peter 3:1-9, the Apostle Peter speaks of the certainty of the second coming. He warns that in the last days, there will be scoffers who question, “Where is the promise of His coming?” Peter then goes on to say: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be holy conduct and godliness?” (2 Peter 3:10-11)
What manner of person should we be in our preparation for Jesus’ return? Peter says, “Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14)
Three qualities are mentioned here: First of all, be found by Him in peace. In order to be at peace with God, we have to walk in obedience to His commandments and to His purpose for our lives. The Bible exhorts us to “pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Heb 12:14).
Secondly, be found by Him without spot. Here, the prepared believer is likened to a garment that is without stain or blemish. Our spiritual garment speaks of our outward behaviour and visible conduct that reflect our inward spiritual condition. Conversion may be a one time experience, but salvation is a lifelong process. It is not enough just to be justified or declared righteous by God through the death of Jesus on the cross. You need to be sanctified or made righteous by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit daily, that is a progressive, continuous transformation.
Thirdly, be found by Him blameless. That means that there is nothing in our personal work and pursuits that anyone can fault. There is no guile, ulterior motive or hypocrisy in whatever we do. In order to be found blameless at Jesus’ coming, we must always do everything for the glory of God and not for the praise of man.
The above mention is abt our preparation on the outside and get ready and prepared for Jesus' second coming... But we also have to look on the inside of our soul n consecrate ourselves... These will need SPIRITUAL DIET...
For I am the Lord your God, you shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy… Lev 11:44
Leviticus 11 relates to us the law concerning the food we eat. While the ceremonial law of the old covenant has been abolished through Christ, there are still spiritual principles we can glean (gather) through a careful study of its symbolism. There are four categories of food in the Jewish dietary laws. The first category has to do with animals on land. The Jews are allowed to eat animals that chew cud and have cloven hooves. Cud is food that is eaten by animals with more than one stomach, like the cow. It is partly digested food that is regurgitated to be chewed again. The English idiom, “chew the cud”, means to ponder and mediate. Cloven hooves are feet that are divided or separated. Spiritually, all these speak of a believer choosing a lifestyle of mediation on God’s Word coupled with a holy walk that is separated unto the lord.
The second category has to do with fish in the water. The people of Israel are permitted to eat fish with finds and scales. Fins give a fish the ability to go in a purposeful direction without being influenced by the currents and tides of the sea. Scales are the bony plates on the body of a fish that protect it from anything unclean in the sea. Jesus says that while we are in the world, we are not of the world (Jn 15:19). We must develop the ability to live a life of purpose without being negatively influenced by the world.
The third category has to do with the birds in the air. A prohibitive list consisting of the vulture, buzzard, falcon, raven, owl, bat and others is given. They are all fowls given to the feeding on dead flesh. Paul says that if you are given to the flesh, you will not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:19-21).
The Bible has much to say about our spiritual nourishment. For Jesus, “cuds and honey, He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good” (Is 7:15). Curd is the oil of milk. It speaks of the Holy Spirit. Honey speaks of the sweetness of God’s Word. When we give ourselves to the Word and the Spirit, we will grow strong in holiness and discernment. Like Christ, we will then know how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
The spiritual diet is to cleanse our soul n make us holy in God's eyes... It is impt we ponder n mediate in God's Word, lead a purposeful live n not get tempted by the flesh...
The wilderness journey of the Israelites is an example and object lesson for contemporary believers (1 Cor 10:11). The Passover speaks to us of the salvation experiences, with Christ as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The crossing of the Red Sea speaks of water baptism, when a believer is separated from the bondage of “Egypt” into a life of faith and promise. And Mount Sinai is a picture of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. For 10 months, the people of God encamped at Mount Sinai. And during this period of time, God came upon the mountain in glory and power. Thus the baptism in the Spirit is an important experience in a believers’ life for five good reasons.
Firstly, the baptism in the Holy Spirit gives you power to be an effective witness. Jesus promises, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me” (Acts 1:8). When we go into all the world to preach the gospel, Jesus expects us to speak in tongues, cast out demons and lay hands on the sick to heal them (Mark 15:15-18). In short, move in power evangelism.
Secondly, the baptism in the Holy Spirit purifies you: “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire… He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire” (Matt 3:11-12). The fire of the Spirit will burn away whatever that is useless in your life. Only the good will remain and be strengthened.
Thirdly, the baptism in the Holy Spirit opens up God’s truth and revelation to you. It was at Mount Sinai that the Ten Commandments were given. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He will bring to your remembrance the words and commandments of God. The moment uneducated Peter was baptized in the Spirit on the day of Pentecost, he could quote the Scriptures of Joel effortlessly, understand the revelation it contained and expound boldly on it to the multitude in Jerusalem.
Fourthly, the baptism in the Holy Spirit opens the door to the supernatural realm. The first thing that always happens is the speaking in an unknown tongue. Then there are eight other miraculous, spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit will bestow on you whenever the need arises. Without the Spirit baptism, your Christianity would be nothing more than a dry intellectual moralistic faith.
Finally, the baptism in the Holy Spirit brings divine guidance and order to your life. It was after Mount Sinai that the Israelites started to march in the order of their tribes. The mob mentality was gone as the laws of God promoted order among them. When you are filled with the Spirit, His leading becomes obvious to you. Your life now is characterized by divine purpose, discipline and structure.
Thus it is really impt to depend on the Lord n the Holy Spirit to guide and led us… It is also impt tt we use the gospel effectively in this current modern world n make it relevant to the society… There is no pt to stick to the old way n tradition, it is time we shld not rely on history but more on the Spirit to leads us in our walk with Christ… But it does not means the past is not impt but it is juz not relevant now in the current society… We have to keep on moving… Thus I say b4 that the Bible alone will dry ur spirit, the Holy Spirit alone will blow ur spirit, but with both, u will grow in the Spirit…TT is y earlier on the sharing between Catholicism and Christianity, I say tt u can’t be extreme legalism nor liberated… Too much legalism in ur life will make u dull; too much liberation will make u too chaotic… Thus it is impt to strike a balance in life…
Another impt pt is tt u have to experience God in ur life… If u dun have God, no matter u r believers of Christ or not, u will nva understand the faith we all had in Him… If u nva experience God in ur Christian life, it means tt u haven really surrender urself to Him yet for Him to shape n leads u… Only ppl who have experiences God is truly to be call Christian n in fulfilling the Words of God n doing His Works for us onearth…
This is a case tt talk abt the difference betweeen Christian Belief and Roman Catholic belief. It is a sharing bu a woman who talks abt her faith... http://www.ourlittleplace.com/testimony.htmlThis may only be a case but still I wanna make the stands clear out there abt the difference... Will be update more when my research is done...
If I had to summarize the difference between Catholicism and the Christian faith, I would point out to these three things:For the Christian, CHRIST ALONE is the mediator and the priest. The Christian comes to God through Christ. In Catholicism, they add others so-called mediators - Mary, the saints and the Catholic priests, who in effect become a hindrance to the intimate and personal commERROR with God. Have you even read in the bible God ask u to ask the dead ppl for mediator, He only ask u to pray with ur peers(living ppl)... For the Christian, salvation is by GRACE ALONE; salvation is granted to him as a free gift by God through faith. It is free, of course for the Christian, it was very 'expensive' for God - He paid with the blood of His dear Son to free us from sin. In Catholicism, people try to earn their salvation by good works, and by penance, and by their suffering in this world and in an imaginary place called purgatory. For the Christian, the BIBLE ALONE is the infallible rule of faith and life. The Christian believes that the Bible is the Word of God and that it is sufficient to show him the way of salvation. He listens to no other voice except that of the Good Shepherd as He speaks through the inspired book. In Catholicism, they replace the Bible by the official pronouncements of their leaders, and though their doctrines cannot always be shown to be biblical, they appeal to their traditions as if they were God's truth. Like the Jews before them, they make the Word of God of no effect by their traditions. My dear friend, hold on to Christ and His Word! Do not let your friends separate you from Him. On the contrary, you should be the one to lead your peers to Christ by sharing the teaching of the Holy Scriptures with them."Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ" (Colossians 2:8) To find the truth, surrender your life to God & ask him for the gift of perception or discernment. Ask God to lead you to the truth and furthermore, ask God to allow you to believe the truth when you find it. People will tell you that one denomination (be it Catholic, Baptist, Pentocostal) is right and the others are wrong. But I have to make things clear abt the differences... Understand that division begats division; confusion begats confusion. To teach that one is better than the other goes dirrectly against the teachings of Jesus Christ. No-one is better than another. I am no better than any one and no one is better than me. Jesus taught peace, love, acceptance and more importantly "No man come to the father but by me." But to answer your question - Catholics do believe basically the same thing that Protestants do. The Protestant movement came about because of the Bishops and the Pope gaining to much social power as they did in Jesus' time. This goes for everyone. I don't want to debate this, everyone has an opinion. Even satan has an opinion. If you want a non judgemental & open-minded discussion feel free to send me an email. I don't have all of the answers but I will try to help all of you.
Final piece of thoughts: Understand that no matter wat is mention above is juz comment made... I think the most impt tt is u have the Holy Spirit as ur guidance, let Him show u the way whether u are catholic or christian... No matter wat I have say, if u doubt or nva believes, it is ur case... The Bible states clearly whatever a man heart think, so is he (Pro 23:7)... But knows that ur decisions is ur consequences... And also remember to judge not for u will also be judged... Last point: whether u are catholic or christian, I think it is impt we can really put away our hatred and to do God's will on earth... The end times are approaching... Understand tt extreme legalism is bad as well as extreme liberation...
And the Lord said, “To what then shall I liken the men of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, saying: ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we mourned to you, and you did not weep.”
Luke 7:31-32
Jesus likens the men of this generation to children playing games: “If you don’t want to play by my rules, I don’t want to play with you anymore. I will take my ball. I will go home to sulk!” the late Dr. Edwin Louis Cole calls this “adult adolescence”. In the early 90s, Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic met the European leaders involved in the Serbian conflict to hammer out a peace treaty between the various ethnic races. Halfway through the negotiation, he stood up and walked out of the meeting. As he left the room, he turned and shouted at the delegates, “Well, if you don’t want to play by my rules, I am not going to play by your rules!” The result of Milosevic’s tantrum was the death of thousands of innocent people in the war at Kosovo.
When a child is growing up, he exhibits certain immature characteristics because of his childishness: (1) The child is the centre of his own universe. Everything revolves around him. (2) The child is insensitive to the needs of others. (3) The child demands his own way. And if he doesn’t get his own way, the next thing happens. (4) The child throws temper tantrums. (5) The child is irresponsible in behaviour. Children are not born obedient. They have to learn obedience. Solomon says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Pro 22:6). Even Jesus had to learn obedience through the things He suffered (Heb 5:8). (6) The child is unable to be reasoned with. No wonder the Bible says that “Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of correction will drive it far from him” (Pro 22:15). This leads me to the last characteristics. (7) The child only obeys concrete authority.
All that I have listed above are the characteristics of a child. As you mature, you are supposed to outgrow your childishness. But when a person mature only in age but not in character, responsibility and discipline, then the characteristics of a child will still be bound in his attitude and worldview. This is when the syndrome of adult adolescence becomes obvious.
How many of u agrees that u have some of ur friends who are showing “adult adolescence”. I will even confess here tt stimes I also show these signs… But how many of u also know tt God is gd n gives u the power n training ground to let u grow n mature over times… Remember when u r born again Christian, u will go back to ur infant stage as a “Babies Christian” no matter how old u are, thus u need the Word of the Lord to made u grow n mature in Him… If u nva reads the Bible n Prays daily to Him, u will nva grows in the Spirit with the Lord… TT is y u sees some of your Christian frens who eventually slide away from God, it is becuz they are like children, they haven mature… They think tt if God is not moving in their ways, they will not follow God or they think tt God is not for them n have abandon them… But in the bibles, it stated clearly tt God will nva abandon u unless u abandons Him. But how many of u knows tt y God want u to follow His ways? It is cuz He is the only one who can brings u thru all things… God is not being childish here but He is trying to show u His magnificent power in doing great things n miracles… Jesus says in the bible tt He is the only way, the only truth n the only life, no one goes to the Father except thru Him(Jn 14:6)… So it is not the saints or the frens ard u tt can bring u to God, all they can do is to invite u but the decisions is still up to u to decide whether u wanna follow Him or not… Also we have to understand another truth is tt, no one can help u only u urself… Not Mother Mary, not the saints, not the pastors, can pray on ur behalf unless u urself open ur hearts to Jesus, the one n only… Yet WE can pray with u but it is not us u have to open to or go to, only go to God, Jesus n the Holy Spirit for guidance, for it is He who gives u the authority not men… U all have to clearly understand tt… The saints have done great thing but they are not God, they dun have authority to command God, it is God who gives them the authority… They can request from God but it doesn’t mean we pray to them to seek God… Cuz God dun wan us to seek after men’s power but His power…
This is meant to make things clear between Christian n Roman Catholicism… Roman Catholicism is different from being catholic, Dun be misjudge by the word catholic…I wanna make things clear tt Roman Catholicism n Christianity is different… When Christian use the word catholic, we means universal but not Roman Catholic… I think now I have to make my stand clear to all ppl out there… Though both of them believe in Jesus Christ but the approach is different… Thus there is a difference between these two religion now...
I'm not here to judged but to let ppl see n understand... There is differences...
But I have said to you. “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey,” I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the people. Leviticus 20:24
God told the children of Israel that if they honoured Him and His Word, He would make them a great people and give them a Holy Land. The same is true for you. If you honour Him and His word, He will make you and your Church (life) like the Promised Land. It will be flowing with milk, which is the Word of God. It will also be flowing with honey, which speaks of the exciting life in the Spirit. Both God’s Word and God’s Spirit are going to flow in you and through your church. People around you will come into contact with that life and be powerfully refreshed.
There are seven great benefits of God’s Word for you. (1) The Word is nourishment for strength and growth (1 Peter 2:1-2) It is pure milk for newborn babes in Christ. It is bread of life for growing believers. It is solid meat for mature Christians. (2) The Word is a catalyst for transformation (2 Cor 3:18) Like a mirror, God’s Word shows you your inward spiritual nature and condition. And as you open your heart, the Holy Spirit will come along to transform you from inside out. (3) The Word is illumination for the mind (Ps 119:130) It gives you revelation from heaven. It helps you to correctly analyze every situation. (4) The Word is the sword of the Spirit (Eph 6:17) As a double-edged sword, it builds faith with one edge, and defeats every negative thought and emotion with the other. (5) The Word is a creative force. God created the universe by His Word. Jesus says, “Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23) (6) The Word is the author of Faith (Rom 10:17) Faith comes by hearing God’s Word. In an atmosphere of faith, the power of God starts moving. (7) The Word is a cleanser (Eph 5:25-27) It is a spiritual antiseptic and disinfectant that sinks into the deepest parts of your soul and removes the stains of sin out of your life.
As seen above abt the benefits of God’s Word can do to ur life… It is understandable tt reading the Bible is impt to Christian walk with God… For new believers, it is like milk tt nourish our baby spirit of God. For growing believers it is like bread of life. And to the mature Christian it is like solid meat to promote strong growth in the Lord. As I have share earlier ytd abt the impt of faith tt is in Christian’s life… It is the same meaning over here… God never despise anyone, cuz He loves us even though we have sins against Him… Dun believe in the lies of the devil, where he said God wun wan a sinner like u… In the Bible, it is written tt Jesus came not to call the righteous but the sinner into the House of God to fellowship with Him… In Jn 3:16, Jesus said tt “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” So dun be deceived…
For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well” Mark 5:28
One time, as Jesus was moving through a huge crowd, there was a certain woman who had been sick for 12 years with a haemorrhage. She had many bad encounters with doctors who could not give her a cure for her disease. She was not getting any better; in fact, she was getting worse. By now, her huge medical bills were pushing her toward bankruptcy. Then one day, somebody told her abt the wonderful miracles Jesus did. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Rom 10:17). The Greek word for “hearing” is in the present continuous tense. That means you need to hear God’s Word spoken to u again and again. That is also the reason why listening to good, faith building sermons is so impt. You can hear then in church, from an audiotape, thru a radio or television broadcast, thru the internet, or simply by reading the Bible aloud to urself.
So this woman heard abt Jesus. She then started saying to herself, “I can be healed. If I could only touch His clothes, I know I can be made whole.” Again in the Greek text, it indicates that she rehearsed and confessed this to herself again and again. Faith is speaking out – again and again. Jesus says, “Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23)
Then this woman acted out what she believed. She came behind Jesus in the crowd and actually touched His garment. Immediately, power left Jesus and healed her of her affliction. Jesus felt the outflow, she felt the inflow. Instead of Jesus rebuking the woman for doing that, He commended the woman for her faith (Mark 5:34). What was her faith?
She heard. She spoke. She acted. This woman didn’t just follow or trust God passively. She translated her faith into positive and physical action. Dun be a passive Christian. Decide to hear God’s Word daily speak and confess them aloud to yourself. Then act out whatever the Word says. God moves when u move – in a faith that is active.
Over here we can see an illustration of faith… All I can say is tt faith is not juz saying n confessing it but also doing it… It is written that faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God… These only build up ur faith but the more impt of building up ur faith is when u turn it into action… When u see sth happen, ur faith will not juz build up but also strengthen up n become stronger… These means ur foundation is gg to be stabilized… it is impt to lay a gd foundation in the Lord as it will prevent u from attacking from the devil… Dun forget the devil know as much as u do n it is a gd bible student… He know the Bible more then we do stimes… Thus in order to win the spiritual warfare with the devil, u have to be rooted in the Word n lay a gd foundation… TT is y it is impt to read the bible daily n pray to the Lord daily so tt ur foundation with God is stable… U see the woman kept on rehearsing n she receive it in the end… So if we do wat she does, we can also be like her able to receive from the Lord our rewards…
There is also another point which we can also learn from the woman is tt she not juz have the faith but also she nva doubt but kept on believing… The bible said b4 “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (Jn 20:29). If thing tt u see, u believe. And things tt u have not seen n yet believe, u r surely to be blessed cuz u believe n have faith in God… Believing is a supernatural form… It gives u the power… The power is den later turn into faith which turn into action… Believing build up ur faith n lays the foundation… TT is y when we do the sinner’s prayer, U have to first admit there is God n u have to believe the existence of God n den u confess it…
Why Christian always seems to enjoy a lot, it is becuz we believe in God tt stirs the faith in us in Him, n it become a cycle of blessing whereby it is clearly stated in Jn 20:29. When God starts to move in ur live n u see God changing ur lives, the cycle will repeat itself becuz u starts to depend on God more den ur physical ability… With ur physical ability u can do much, but with God’s given ability u can do the extraordinary…
Acts 2:33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
Jesus calls the "promise of the Spirit" the "baptism of the Holy Spirit"... Thus IT IS IMPT TO HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!
Acts 1:4-5 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." What does the baptism in the Holy Spirit bring? Acts 1:8 But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
"power" = Gk dunamis = So it is the baptism of the Holy Spirit that enables you to have the power to Work miracles and the power to prosper and have abundance!
1. We become an effective witness of Jesus
Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave themutterance. Acts 2:5-8 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, "Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?
Today, if we want to be effective witness for Jesus in the MARKETPLACE, we must learn to communicate the gospel in a relevant way and speak the language that they understand. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to effectively witness for Jesus That is why we cannot ignore or reject the Holy Spirit in our lives!!! The Church will have no power to grow and no power to effectively reach the world without the supernatural empowerment from the Holy Spirit!!!
2. Dreams and Visions Acts 2 :17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
If it is God's given dreams, it will definitely come to pass
1 Cor 2:9-12 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 1 Cor 2:16 For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. It is impt to have the Holy Spirit to be in the flow with God... When we have the Holy Spirit, we have insight into everything. Now, we must understand that a vision and a dream is a seed. Whateva seed u plant, u sow the harvest of the seed. Spiritual attack always start at the seed form. The devil will always try to corrupt your vision when it is in the seed form... The most vulnerable form too...
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION THEN? It is simple!!! U need to be born again... To be "born again"= supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that expresses itself through repentance, to have a change of Mind and a change of Action. You may not know how to do it but u can ask God to teach u... Rom 11:16-18 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
When we become believer of Jesus Christ, we are grafted into the olive tree... It means Jesus is the root and we are the branches... The source determines the outcome... Whom u are grafted to, u become whoeva ur source is... So if ur source is God, ur fruits will be godly... If ur source is the devil, ur outcome will become sinful...
Psalm 10:11 He (the wicked) has said in his heart, "God has forgotten; He hides his face; He will Never see."
Do you find yourself not doing something in the company of others yet when you are alone though you know it is biblically wrong you do it then? Or not talking about certain actions or behaviors with a certain crowd, group of friends, etc. Because you know they would disapprove? Friends the truth is God is ALWAYS there or should I say here. Whatever action(s) you are are concealing from those certain friends or your parents or your church GOD SEES. And the sad thing is most of us care more about the judgment of our friends and family then we do about the judgment of God! How ludacrious, since God's judgment is FOREVER and FOREVER IS For FOREVER!! What does it matter what others think? I'll tell you what when you stop living for others and live for God you will find the greatest peace and happiness there is. Your will feel more fulfilled in your life and self assured because your strength, power and influence are set in stone because of the foundation you have with God.
The moral of this story is: You are the one who has to live AND Die with your choices, actions and behaviors not your friends.. Can you live with that? Allowing others to live out your life for you and make your choices for you? I couldn't!! God is omni present... It is true that wateva we do, God sees and know even b4 we do it... Cuz He reads all minds... But God will nva interupt ur decisions as He wan u to make a decision so tt He knows ur heart whether is it for Him or against Him... In the bible, it said "For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Pro 23:7 God give us the authority n ability to chose... He nva controls u but u urself control ur future... TT is y we Christian always make it a point to seek the Lord First in all things we do, n do His will... "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" Mt 6:33 God is gd, He allows u to chose whether u wan earthly treasure or heavenly treasure... If u seek God, He will definitly prosper u with His gd things as u faithfully follows Him... But if u chose not to follow Him, he will nva prosper u... The bible say tt u cannot serve two master... It is either u follow one and hate the other or vice versa... Make a decision Now!!!
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues.” Mark 16:17
It is “politically correct” to say that a person doesn’t need to speak in tongues to be a Christian. But the truth is that without tongues, you will never fully enter into the realm of the spiritual and supernatural. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. When you yield your tongues to the Holy Spirit’s control, it opens the door to the invisible world of the miraculous.
We are told to constantly pray in the Spirit (Eph 6:18). What does that mean? The apostle Paul defines praying in the Spirit as praying in tongues (1 Cor 14:2). Similarly, to sing in the Spirit is to sing in tongues.
There are seven wonderful benefits of speaking in tongues: (1) You are speaking directly to God (1 Cor 14:2). (2) You are strengthening your own spirit man on your inside (1 Cor 14:4) (3) When used with the gift of interpretation, you can edify others in a public gathering (1 Cor 14:5). (4) You are expressing your praise to God (1 Cor 14:15-17). (5) You are allowing the Holy Spirit to make deep intercession through you (Rom 8:26) (6) You are refreshing yourself and entering into rest with God (Isa 28:11-12). (7) You are building up your faith when you pray in tongues (Jude 20).
Learn to pray in tongues a lot in your daily prayer time. Remember what the apostle Paul said, “I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all” (1cor 14:18). Paul made it a point to pray in the Holy Spirit during his personal devotional time. So should we. Paul was not ashamed to speak in tongues. Neither should we be.
I happen to bump into some of my frens who say tt speaking in tongues are not gd... So I intend to know more abt the speaking of tongues... I do know abit abt it but it is always better to seek ppl who know more abt it... I find out tt the arguments used by ppl who are against speaking in tongues are actually ignorant abt the bible as even though they use bible text to explain there is no need to speak in tongues but they used those text very selective... Becuz if u read the whole passage the text meaning is actually different from the way the ppl interpret it... I will say I felt I have enter into another level up on my understanding of God n even strengthening my Faith in Him... God is truly a magnificent n everything He does He do it with a purpose...I know tt there are a lot of ppl out there especially Christian who think tt speaking in tongues is not good or even demonic… Thus over here, I am giving u guys a clear understanding of speaking in tongues… Some Christian can quote in the bible tt tongues shld be abolish but when the bible means abolish mean tt when u have misuse it… But in this context when we pray in the Spirit, we are not misusing it but edifying it. Yes it is true tt tongues is a language but it needs not necessary to be human languages if it is not mean for human but God… Dun forget our God is a creator of all languages… Tongues need not necessary for another person to understand it… There is personal tongues for prayer which means it is a prayer between u n God…
It is also impt we know tt any languages be it human or tongues, when there is no love, it is nth, it is in vain, and it does not glorify God. Speaking in tongues means Love for God… when a tongue is not understood by human, it means tt the audience is not for human, simply juz tt… It means tt the audience is God Himself only. When tongues is understood or interpreted by man, it means tt there is an agreement in the Spirit which also leads to prophesy n affirmation from God.Remember tt full knowledge need both the Bible and the Spirit. With the Spirit alone, it will blow up ur mind… With the Bible alone, it will dry up ur spirit… With both, u will grow up…Church is impt to Christian… U need ppl to teach u to understand God but you still have to understand God on your own devotion times… That is why Christian need to go to Church to know more abt God…
Remember not to be decieve by ppl tt speaking in tongues is not good... U have to read the bible n understand it n prays in the Spirit... Cuz the ppl out there using the Bible to stop Christian from speaking in tongues are actually Contextualizing the Bible... Cuz if u read the whole Bible n go to Church n understand God, U will knoe tt ppl against speaking in tongues are the naive grp of ppl... Remember to read the Bible more n Prays more so tt u know wat God truely wan in ur life...To know more abt tongues feel free to contact me n I am more den willing to share with u guys... I wun post here is due to the fact tt ppl may misunderstand the purpose...
“But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” Mark 4:8
God gives us laws to empower us to succeed in every aspect of life: career, education, marriage, finances, and our walk with Him, etc. Laws are given so that we understand the cause-and-effect balance that exists in the universe God has created.
God does that so you won’t get disappointed with life. Disappointment is never based on what you find, but upon what you expect to find. And when you don’t get what you expect, you can become angry and upset. In some cases, you may even slump into depression. To succeed in life, you must properly manage your expectations. If your expectations are unrealistic, you will end up discouraged.
Mark 4 in the Bible relates the famous parable of the sower. There are four types of soil. The farmer takes a big bag of seeds and goes out sowing them. The farmer intuitively understands that he is not going to get a full return on every seed he casts out. The seed that falls on the wayside would be unproductive. The seed that falls on stony ground would eventually die out. The seed that falls on thorny ground would get choked in the thorns. Only the seed that falls on good ground would become fruitful, producing a thirtyfold, sixtyfold or hundredfold harvest.
A farmer is always fully aware of the pre-existing conditions of the soil he works on. He knows that only 25 percent of what he scatters would bring back a harvest. And even then, only a third of that 25 percent would give him the maximum hundredfold return. Being armed with that knowledge, the farmer wouldn’t be shocked, traumatized or shaken when some seeds don’t yield any crop. He manages his expectations well.
Similarly, you must be prepared to deal with the “inevitabilities” of life. You live in an imperfect, fallen world. There will be recession, unemployment, epidemics, disasters, tribulation and persecution. You will have enemies. Bad things do happen to good people. If you do get surprised when such inevitabilities happen, then you are really being naïve, gullible and immature. The Bible calls you a “simpleton”!
Manage your expectations in every aspect of your life. Sometimes, you will find yourself bumped unto the wayside, stony ground or thorny ground. When that happens, don’t get distracted because you can be sure that the good ground is just around the corner to bring you a great harvest.
It is impt that we mange our expectations... Make sure u make realisitic goals so tt u will not feel discouraged at the end of it when u did not succeed... Learn from the famers that not all the seeds will become fruitful but at least u know tt some of it will gives u back all u have put in effort into it... Life is an reflection on the things ard us... Most of u wun have know the simple expects of farming actually can bring out such great principles in life in managing ur expection rite... But I will say tt God is a good God, He lets us learn from the things ard us, giving us a mind to discern things n understands how things work in His wonderful creation... So lets us really learn not to take things for granted n learn to manage our goals n expectations in a better ways so tt our spirit will nva be discouraged but become stronger n bolder to take up challenges in life...
A word to remember: If this principle work in the world,U can imagine with God in our mist n depending on God's mericiful Hands to move, leads n guide our goals n expectations in our lifes, our lives will surely nva be the same as b4... Thus even the non-christians shld learn to learn from this principle as it is not juz for Christian only... Cuz God wan us to share the Word ard to let others Know more abt God and understand Him!!!
“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish.” 1 Sam 1:10
Hannah was despised because she had no children. In her barrenness, she cried out to the Lord. The name “Samuel” means “asked of God”. That was exactly what Hannah did when she was childless - she asked God for a son.
The key to fruitfulness is the travail of the soul. Hannah didn’t come to God with a lackadaisical attitude. She came before the Lord with a heavy burden and a holy dissatisfaction, crying desperately and wailing with anguish. Her soul was going through pain and agony. Just like a mother travails as she goes through childbirth, Hannah went through a “birthing” in her spirit.
Every revival is born out of very intense prayer. Today, six of the 10 largest churches in the world are found in one country – South Korea. Yet, South Korea went through much devastation during the Japanese occupation and the Korean War. At the turn of the 20th century, Korean Christians were greatly persecuted. Many were incarcerated and martyred. In the midst of their tribulation, the Korean believers cried out to the Lord for revival. There was travailing prayer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The result of that was a mighty revival that swept through the land after the Korean War. Christians pooled whatever little resources they had to build schools, hospitals and churches. Correspondingly, God blessed the country. Today, South Korea is one of the most advanced nations and powerful economies on the world. It has become a fruitful nation.
Referring to Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was in such agony as He prayed that His sweat become like great drops of blood falling down to the ground (Luke 22:44). Out of Christ’s travail came forth a glorious Church! May we grieve over the unfruitfulness in our lives and churches. May we come before the Lord in pain and brokenness, crying: “Lord, please remove the reproach of barrenness from my life. Make me a productive person for the kingdom.” Let’s become “Hannahs” before the Lord, desperate to see fruitfulness in our lives.
As u can see over here in the sharing share above abt Hannah. I prayed n hope tt u all understand tt even Christians are experiencing the same problems as normal ppl… When we become Christians it does not make us better den anyone in all expects as we are all same as human but the only differences is only in the Spiritual realm whereby we have God on our side… There is also an impt thing to learn here is tt a strong n fervour prayer is effective when u desire sth supernatural from God… When u sees Hannah prays with an earnest heart, U see God move in her life… It is also same in Korea… Thus it is simple to conclude tt, if we seek God earnestly for His sake in our lives, He can do great things in our lives and transform greater miracles and anointing in our lives… So ppl learn to depend on God as HE is really a good God and He yearns to see us Happy!!! Let us cast all our bitterness onto Him and Let Him helps us solve our problems… Jesus say b4 in the Bible tt we shld cast our burdens on Him n carry His burden as it is lighter… So lets us really learn how to seek God in our daily devotional time with Him n strengthen our relationship With Him…
Samson the mighty judge did great exploits against the Philistines, the enemy of Israel. The name “Samson” means “sunshine” or “glory of the sun”. He had a supernatural birth because his mother was actually barren and could not conceive (Judges 13:3). An angel of the Lord announced his birth to her. So right from his mother’s womb, Samson was already consecrated unto the Lord. He was called to be a holy Nazirite from the day he was born.
Apart from the Levitical priests, the Nazirites were the only other group in Israel who were considered holy. By establishing the Nazirite order, God gave every Israelite an equal chance to be holy. All a person needed to do was to take the Nazirite vow and choose to separate himself wholly unto the Lord. The terms of the vow were as follows: (1) He was not to drink any strong drink. (2) He was not to cut his hair. (3) He was not to touch anything unclean. The Nazirites had voluntarily chosen to set themselves apart for God’s holy service (Num 6:1-8).
Samson was the mightiest and strongest man who ever lived. With his bare hands, he was able to tear a lion apart (Judges 14:6). On one occasion, Samson slew 30 Philistines by himself (Judges 14:19). On another occasion, he killed 1000 men with the jawbone of a donkey (Judges 15:15). One night, while the people were all sleeping, Samson went to the gate of the city of Gaza and he lifted the whole city gate on his shoulders and carried it to the top of Mount Hebron (Judges 16:3). Imagine carrying a city gate that weighed several tons on your shoulders for over 60km and then climbing up a mountain with it!
Where did Samson get his supernatural strength from? The secret was in his hair: “If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man” (Judges 16:17). The length of Samson’s hair was the measure of his consecration and faithfulness to the vow he had made to the Lord.
God’s supernatural power increases proportionately to the level of holiness in your life. Consecration is always the source of authority, power and strength. The more you separate yourself unto Him, the more God can pour out His anointing upon you.
Today my sharing is abt the strength tt is able to be develop in us... Actually ytd night sth bad happen to the family... Evreyone is not in a gd mood... But the most impt thing is tt everyone had lost their strength... TT is y things happen ytd night... Some have laboured but not receeive enough credit, others may have receive without repaying the credit tt leads to ytd night incident...Remeber to push fault to other but let other know y u think these ways... AS I said b4 the power of imagoination is too vast n stimes can be very vague... So u have to learn to take control of ur imagination n not let it run wild... Same goes to the strength tt is bestow unto u... Similar to God bestowing Samson the power of strength but if u dun know how to control it will become a disaster... If u continue to read the story abt Samson, he was actually eventually die together with the Philistines... If God is for him, y not God kill the Philistines n not Samson... But I will say God did not kill Samson but it is because Samson lose control of his ability tt leads to his death... So ppl we have to learn along the process and not keep on lingering in our past ( failure, victory, hurtz, joy and etc...) but continue to move on n strengthen ourselves n moving on... It is not juz for GOD alone but also for urself... Remember God create u here for a PURPOSE... Cuz u may have been thru failure tt other may not been thru but it does not means others do not have failure... Yes u may have suffer but doesn't means other dun... So instead of blaming, y not we help each other up... The more u help, the more u gain...
Alot of things seems to happen ard me n yet though I'm free at home but yet I'm unknown abt it... How's life have change since the operation... I seen my fren go thru problems n yet I'm unable to help... Where is the old Jon who is always out to help his frens... Stimes I also feel is it tt I have not been mixing ard them lately to help them? Wat to do when u can't walk ard n the only thing u can do is to call them up but they are busy n unable to listen to u, or when they online u try to talk to them but yet they ignore u... Life is becoming duller n no purpose... I can onli laments tt I really can't do much... Frens start to feel distant from me which is almost like killing n slicing my heart... I dun wan these to happen.... I wan to see my frens happy...
A prayer of faith I pray tt God can help me n my frens... I pray tt wateva I can't do phyiscally, I will pray for God intercession to help me help my frens to overcome their problems... I also pray for more strength every time we are faced with a problem n tt we can change n turn our problems into a challenge to overcome it.... God our Father, I also pray for protection n healing over me n my frens... I also pray tt our relationship n things ard us will continue to stand strong in the mist of circumstances... In ur Most Holy Name, Jesus I prayed... AMEN!!!
'Go forth and prosper' isn't just a saying -- it's a mandate where the two of you are concerned. Together, you have the Midas touch, and everywhere you go, things turn to gold (without the nasty side effects of the original fable, of course). One lesson that Midas learned that you two should take to heart is that riches are useless without compassion and love. How can you share the wealth so it benefits others as well as yourselves? That's one to grow on.
This is sth tt is really true for two person who are in a relationship (here it means more den juz relationship, it means friendship, kinship n all) It is impt we keep this things in mind tt watever we do, if there is no compassion n love, no matter wat u have on this earth, u wun be happy... Everyone will wan all thing to be as wat they wan it to be but if there is no love n compassion in doin it, Sooner or later u will be tired of it... So let us do it with love n spread love ard... It is the reason why these world is birth of... Love have the power to create n also the power to destroy... As long as u believe it to be of sth good, it will be good... If u used it for sth bad, it will be bad... So let us do good with love den to do bad with love tt may leads to destruction...
This title is sth I have been thinking all along in my life... It is very encouraging n yet discouraging too... But as long as u believe even ur discouraging moments can be encouraging, things can change for the better... It is becuz u hold the keys to success and the power and ability to change the environment u r living in!!!
So ppl out there stop blaming urself or resign to destiny as u r the one who control destiny... Your belief is able to change destiny according to ur dreams and ur plan... U r the director to ur life... Others n circumstances are juz ur actors being part of ur play... U direct how ur life to go abt... The ending of the story depends on u n ur dreams and desires... Every dreams and desires u have have a certain risk to go by, thus make sure wat u do is worth u doing it... Once u make that decision, u can't regret but only pray tt u wun make mistakes, even if u do, make sure u turn the mistakes into a stepping stone to become better the next time u do it again without committing the same mistake...
Though history may prove failure but as long as u believe, all history can be change to become better... Dun trust history, believe in urself... Remember my motto: Believe in urself, be yourself, be the one and only... When u go for ur dreams, u can be persistent but when u persist n yet not prevails, it means sth went wrong so u have to take a step back to look at the situation u r in n make changes b4 u proceed on... Understands tt every one dreams is special but u can't let it clouds ur sense of clearity n make u unable to differentiate things... There is a step to principle of success but u have to make sure everything u do is WORTH b4 continuing... It is becuz even u believe it will happen but yet it is not worth the effort, it is of no use...
Thus I shall stop here n let u guys go into deep thoughts of wat u all have miss up in life whether u wan to continue in ur dreams in ur life or u wan to let it fade away... Make sure u do it without regrets... AS long as u believe!!! The power of believing is greater den anythings in life cuz it is almost same as the power of thinking tt is really beyond control... The will power!!!
Sorry for the pass few days tt I nva update my blog... I was actually kinda busy watching Vcds called "My date with vampires 3"... It is a Hong Kong Serial Drama talking much abt love n history stuff... It was a nice n full of wild imagination show but also seems to be realistic if u wan it to happen in ur life... In this show, u will know more abt love n alot of nice philosophy which human actually desire to have... My rating for it is 5 out of 5... Too high liao but it is worth the rating... This few days while watching the show I also learn alot of stuff and feel n understand alot which words can't be explain clearly here... Maybe got time when u guys come n visit me I will share it with u or u all can go catch the show n understand it urself... Life can be fun n exciting if only u wan it to be... AS I will say u got to be open to imagination n willing to accept how things goes abt in order to fully able to enjoy the by-product of it...
Not boasting here or wat, cuz actually this principle is long ahead taught to men by God in the bible... As usual to most ppl, they dun agree with the bible cuz they think it is juz merely an example which Christian are believing in or trying to get ppl into their religion... But I will say tt Christianity is not a religion but is a relationship with GOD... N this relationship is not juz any mere unfulfilled n unsuccessful one... Dun worry I'm not trying to say u all are not good or wat but juz sharing my pieces of thought with the understanding of Christianity perse... Cuz life is an irony if u think carefully without being bias to things... U can see a bigger pictures when u are not narrow minded... There is alot of conflict between religion which I think occur when there is no understanding but doubt n disbelief... I seen alot of religion but there is only one truth which I felt tt Christianity is able to offer which other can't...(not trying to stirs any dispute here) It is actually the Love of ppl which other religion can't offer... Y I say so is tt most religion talk much abt reward the good n punish the evil... But they are unable to bring out the essence of why the gods have to do it... However in Christian world, it is not abt tt but it is abt understanding God n be more like Him so tt we will do good n not evil as evil come from the fallen nature in us tt we have to overcome n it is not juz abt reward n punishment as other religion does... Okie okie I shall stop talking abt religion... But All I wanna say is tt in order to be able to live a life fruitful n full of success, (u may not be Christian) U have to be first able to understand the power of imagination, but being a Christian give u more power to not juz human imagination but godly imagination too... So u got to dreams n believe den u are able to receive...
I hope u guys dun be in denial but understand n open up ur mind to new stuff for good n not evil... Life is always a challenges between the good n evil... If u wan to do sth do it with a strong determination tt it is not juz for ur own good as personal gain wun last... But do it tt it will benefit others, as u see others gain in u, u will be the most blessed person on earth even though u risk it all out while other enjoy the fruit of ur labour... Look it at another perception is tt it is becuz of u tt others is able to enjoy rather tt being selfish to wat u had n leaving others in ur blessing
