I happen to come across an article in New Paper talking abt how foreign students faced with discrimination by local student. They are often teased for their accent when they speak, the different character they had; it could be that they may not like certain things that the local students prefers, or that they like things that local student dun, but does this make them different? I was initially not comfortable talking to them as stimes their accent I couldn't understand or hear what they are speaking. It really take patience to hear them and allow them to get use to us as we get use to them. I agree that the most major problems they faced is really on settling down peacefully in Singapore during their stay here while they complete their studies or for some work here.
Currently, I have a few foreign frens. I have from China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand. I find that when I put in effort to talk to them and share with them experience while they share their; is an exciting moments spent as you are able to knoe more abt their culture as they know urs. WE shld hold firm our country's mandate to be a multi-diversity culture society where everyone are able to live in peace and harmony. Though it is hard at times, but we shld always have an open heart to accept them, as after all we are build up by immigrants in the past to become who we are today.
I like the title that the New Paper use. It is really like the title tt we shld not let fear turn into hatred as it is the worst thing ever happen. In fact, we shld always learn how to confront our fear and not let it become bitter. Like my past article I always mention that we shld let love flourish and not nurse hatred. Only that, we are able to break discrimination barrier. Fear set in when we dun dare to face the truth, as we are afraid to be "naked" before others. When we step into new environment, we are faced with new truth and revelation, make us vulnerable to others. Though we need to protect ourselves, we shld not shut ourselves up, as these wun solve the problem. So we need to engage the problems thus able to handle it and solve it.

Love A Potion Yet A Poison!
How fragile is our relationship with one another. Lately I have seen a few break up and also a few broken relationship I had with my frens. I notice tt one things that really hinders relationship is stimes hard to handle as you really may not know how to deal at it as it oftens hurt u too much at the point and when u think back, you feel lost. Yet however, circumstances at times does not allow u a choice but time is the only last solution to solve the problems. As everyone need the Time to cool down to think over b4 anyone can come out with a better ans for the situation. Communication is really the keys to unlock time but u need to build tt good communication as bad communication can actually work the opposite and cause thing to move the other way. So the best remedy is to look into how u deal with daily situation and not make it worse and build up the trust with one another and communicate or else when problems arise, you may not have the ability to face it. I was viewing my blog on the past entries and I notice tt one of my quote "In life there is no smooth journey but journey tt is full of challenges for u to face it!!! But whether u take it the positive ways or the negative ways... Dun live a regretful life but a life full of purpose n desires n Dreams yet to be fulfilled..." really is wat my blog is all about. No matter what u faced in life, there is always a positive and negative forces acting on it. It is only when u allow positive forces to strengthen den good things will happen or else if negative forces is so strong, it is hard to have a good ending. AS I always say that Love is a potion and yet a poison, it heals and it kills. It is the amount of forces of energy that acts upon a situation that determine the outcome.
Take a look at Salt, salt is a wonderful example that proves the above theory. Salt has cleansing effect on wounds, yet when taken too much, it actually hurts the kidney and liver, however, we also can't go without it as it is a neutralizing agent in the body and the body needs it. It is like love. Everyone needs love to keep them going, even a heartless person when experiences love can melt away their hardness, yet when u r obsess abt it, when break off occur, it destroy a person totally. So we must learnt to be accountable for the actions and love we have as it is a key that either unlocks hope or it unlock disaster.
Love is the ultimate power that lifted everyone up, though it is a lethal poison but it is after all the best neutralizing agent ever found on earth. Cux if u gg to let hatred set in instead of a loving heart, you will nva get to the end of it. So remain a loving person no matter wat. It is when you give tt you will receive. Without giving at a cost or sacrifice, you will nva receive the ultimate reward when ppl starts to appreciate you back. Continue to love though it hurts at times but remember tt in the end, it is still the sweetest things found.

The Above picture was taken when we were joking abt Ben playing with lollipop and Sing Yee went shopping with me, Eileen Chia and Ben at Bugis street on one of the Sun after svc.
This is taken after svc of our gorgeous lady with their new ear rings.
B4 Cg, we had a sumptuous meal treat by Winnie. It was great having the meal as B4 the meal I was having tuition with my new kid at Bedok. After the meal, we had Cg at Alfred and Winnie house. It was really new and great, cuz b4 the game start, we had a try on how to set up a fan for CG use. Today Cg was more on reflection and revelation. Ben and Serena shown us how their walk in Christian life. It was a wonderful sharing. Den Kenneth, did a small sharing based on what they shared and highlighted that God's original plan is really for us to do all things with possibility, as impossibility was devil's plan and sin blinded our hearts and eyes and become fear and make us naked.
Understand also that what is little in our hands, when we trust it in God's hand can beome much. Our lives may be little or less worth but when we placed ourselves into God's hand, our value is lifted up as we start to impact ppl's lives. Cuz "A vision is not measure by how big it is, but how much it can contains and impact." We need to carry the visions of our lives and othes as it is where your life values is increased and lifted up.

A day in Sentosa!!!
Wow, have a wonderful day at Sentosa with my friends, playing volleyball, Frisbee. It has since been long tt I went to Sentosa to play. Guess the last time was during my army day when we have an event at Sentosa which is last year. The weather was great with sun shine. We met at 1030 at habourfront and take the tram to Sentosa. We headed straight to Beach Station and find a nice location and played our games. We played till 3pm before we went to vivocity to have our meals. Here are the pictures taken: Labels: Happy Moments

A day in my ex-JC!!!
I went to my jc today with my mei zi, maureen, it was so amazing to see how my jc have change and my little junior who are in the sch studying, having lesson, playing ard in the canteen like wat I have did in the past. I also met up with my ex teachers, like Mr Chen, Ms Lim, Mr Naresh and some other teachers too. It was a wonderful time spend there as most of the time, we were in Mr Chen Geog tutorial with his students, and I feel like a student n notice I can ans the qns though I know it is no longer of need as I wasn't gg to retake my A lvl. Mr Chen was so nice to us as he bought us drink and lunch tt day. Labels: Happy Moments
After visiting my sch, I went to visit my ex colleagues at Singapore Expo as they are having an interior design exhibition. Hence, I linger there and chat with them and see how they gg, they were asking me back, but I wasn't really keen yet, as my current status is still not stable to take up tt offer. There must be sth more.
Lately I am really impress at the sermon tt is expounding into our lives thru the Sermon on the Mount, thru CG, thru other guest speaker tt comes to our church and share the WOG to us. Throughout my 9 yrs of faith in CHC, I was always anticipating more from God, everytime I am down or even when I am gg thru life without any problem, I am always expecting sth from God. It is not tt u wan to exploit God or kept on asking God for material things but really on the spiritual things tt is from above. Apart from it, it is also asking God to change u into a better person where u can really become a blessing to the society. Christianity to me now is more den juz a religion where u attend only Saturday or Sunday, nor attending CG in the wk, or attending Prayer meeting. The ultimate goal of it is really on building relationships with one another and especially to God. Wat u expect on having sth more, is really on how to be equipped with the WOG and prayers and supplication, fasting tt u burden ourself for the world's souls. Cuz the Word says that “he who wins soul is wise” and “he who seeks the Lord in righteousness will be rewarded”. Labels: Personal Sharing
Some points to consider to is tt how we can be of someone who have sth more to reach out to the people ard us apart from our fellow Christians, friends, but to more than tt to the rest of the community and society. I remember I listen to a sermon by Dr A R Bernard who says tt we shld be the “go-to”person whenever ppl need help in their lives, y? Cuz we are the little ambassadors of Christ who are the problem solver and able to challenge problem and overcome them. As ppl are willing to pay top dollars to have their problem eradicate. So r we the one who are able to be paid or r we the one who create problem?
We also need to constantly engage the WOG and pray as with the word alone the spirit will dried up, with the Holy Spirit alone, we will blow up, only when we engage the Word and pray that we will definitely grow up as the Lord use and mould u for His purpose in u in ur life to be the salt and light of the earth and world. Constant reading the word and prayer make u in the centre of God's will and He will be able to reveal visions and dreams pertaining ur life to u.
Faith alone is able to move God but wat make God's name glorify is really when u put faith into action and transforming lives and impact the society. It is also when u r willing and available and broken to the Lord tt He is able to put new revelation to u to expound on it and grow and rise up for the occasion. God use ppl mightily when they are broken and humble to Him, He will not use prideful person for His plan or disobedience ppl as it is like the comparison of King Saul and King David, why in the end God chose David instead of Saul. As u can see in the Word, the ppl that is use mightily by God's hand, Abraham (our father of faith), Issac, Jacob, Israel, David, Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, John, Peter. U will notice tt they are all always ready to listen to God's voice and proactive to act on the Rhema tt is spoken to them. Thus, we really need to have the extraordinary substance of obedience and faith to move God's heart to use u.

King arthur and the witch story
Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death. The question?... What do women really want? Labels: Inspirations Thoughts
Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged. The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch.
She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first. The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.
He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table. Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus: What a woman really wants, she answered.... is to be in charge of her own life. Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding. The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened?
The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half. Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night? Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments? What would YOU do? What Lancelot chose is below. BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY? Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life. Now....what is the moral to this story?

The word for the season
Currently I am at the state where I am being teachable under the power of God's grace and anointing. I am especially blessed with the guidance of Bk as he is the one who pass down the four core values of our cell grp which is accountability, teachability, availability and willingness. I notice tt everytime I apply what I learnt into action, God nva fails to shortchange us. It is really placing God in the centre of your will and He will effectively use u and mould u into a greater being to impact the ppl ard u and fulfill the cultural mandate placed into our lives to impact the marketplace, penetrate the marketplace and into the marketplace. The sermon on the mount series also make me to examine myself on the Christianhood I am in right now. To see my Beatitudes from a different angle with more substance in it. How to be an effective Christian in the society. Wat blessed me the most is how to remain broken in the spirit for God to restore and filled u. It reminded me of the broken flask tt filled the surrounding flask tt is at the btm of the first broken flask. Cuz I always take brokenness for granted tt God can use u anytime anywhere, but if u r not broken or discern to listen to Him, He cannot use u mightily as it is actually an hindrances to Him to use u. Though u may be hunger and thirst for him, without brokenness, u r unteachable. U need to humble urself down to experience God totally. Tt is y brokenness is very impt and is the first of the Beatitudes.
Next i learnt was how to be effective salt of the earth and light of the world. We shld not lose the flavour of the salt and hidden in the darkness of the world right now. We shld in fact be in the world to preserve, purifies, heals, flavours, melts, give energy, creates thirst as salt. Illuminates promotes life, awakens, provide visions , persistent, attracts and solve problems as light.

The Art of Problem Solving By A R Bernard

We are overcomer. In order to be an overcomer, you must have sth to overcome. In fact there is a lot of obstacles to overcome in our life. It is easy to flow in the current but harder to go against the current.
All good things are found upstreams. It is easy to get into the boat to flow down the streams, but it takes effort to peddle upstream. U need effort to be an overcomer, there is exactly what God ask u to be,when u r born of God you are called to be an overcomer.
Overcomer = Problem Solver
Solving problems is a way of life. The world pays people top dollars to solve their problems. We are not the victim of problem but problem solver. We are to influence our city, our world and position ourselves where people will go to. Leadership is a tedious job. There is more problems den ppl in the world. We got to see problems on the different angle. We have to see life differently.
So we need to develop the skills, you develop the ability to be able to be problem solver. Develop patterns, develop understanding and you go thru it, you will be able to prove out and find thing quickly.
John 12:20-25
When u can solve problems, ppl will go after u. Jesus speak out of the revelation of ambassadors of Christ that will take over the “go-to” person of the ppl who need u to reach out to, Being a representatives of Christ to reach out to ppl.
Skills we can attain thru
1.Study.
2.Practice.
3.Observations
It is an art form when we develop the skills thru study, practice and observations and become an artists. U will become highly equipped with the skills and become the “go-to” person. A wise leader must reproduce himself. Thru our r/s with God, we have the anointing of God and able to help ppl.
Art, it is the skill attained by s1 thru study, practice, observations. Tt is y we need to learn thru ppl's experience, wateva u wan to be good at, u need to make it an art. We shld be able to read circumstances and not be overwhelm by it. An opportunity for u to use ur skill to advances ur skills in it when u engage the problems.
Luke 9:10-18
Problem solver think tt everything have potential to change the situation. U need to organise thing to solve the problem, putting it in order. You are not limited in wisdom when u r in God. Problem produce patience, endurance and maturity upbringing of character and confidence and trust in God. Admitting the present condition will solve the problem as denial will not solve the problem. U cannot heal a thing tt is not there. U need to admit the situation and allow it to be solved. We need to be honest of the present condition and do it without shame and these will allow u not to be paralysed.
Wateva u fail to change, problems will come back again. Dun let failure make u ashamed but be strong to admit it and do it without fear and u will be able to solve the problem. We shld not be ashamed of problem, dun blame others. Do without shame and blame, be honest and accept responsibility!!! Dun be vague. Write down ur problem so u are able to face it and not shun away in your mind. Prayer with total openness and truth for God's direction. You cannot solve problem at the same level u r created. Everytime u solved the problems, it take u into a new level. Great relationship is born out of problems. Move out of ur comfort zone and move into a new level, time to move up and move on to new stage of knowledge and responsibility and authority and deepening of our character.
Insight gives u the ability to discern the true identity of the situation. It happens when u prays and God gives u insight or when u brainstorm the situation. We have to keep asking and seeking.
Mt 7:7, James 1:5-6
Step away is another alternatives to solve the problem but it does not mean giving up. Cuz it allows u to take a step back and view the situation with a greater picture. Step away and do sth else totally unrelated to the problem as solution can appear. Do sth u like to do and u can be sure to be able to solve the problem, but dun stay away too long.

Praise Report!!!
A praise report in my life, finally I am breaking thru the poverty cycle. In God, the promise that His child will always be blessed and not live in lack. This proved tt My God is more den enough. God's promises is slowly fulfilling in my life as I sowed faithfully and tithe into His kingdom. God always nva failed to impress me with His goodness that He poured into my life, everytime I am down or in lack, He nva stop to provide help and comfort into my soul. I am really blessed to be in God's blessing and anointing. Now not juz my life is transform, I also start to engage the marketplace, penetrating the marketplace and into the marketplace. I have started working more and earning more to save and my bank is no longer in debt. Labels: Updates
Lately I also very involve in changing ppl's lives and making a differences. I was so touched to see them become well and improve in their confidence and also learn to be happy. I always think that happiness is part of a person's essential lives. The best thing in life is to be happy as it can change all negative thing into positive thing within short period if u know how to be happy. When ur soul is happy even in down times, u can see how God can use u to see His power and miracles working in your lives or even impacting other's lives.
Now wat I am expecting to do in my lives is to really maximize my talents on coaching and tutoring ppl to change ppl together with my counselling skill to help ppl build their esteem. I now looking forward to teach more ppl and counsel ppl whenever I can to help ppl get thru their lives. Even when I am not able to, I will always learn to be dependent on God's power and anointing and not on my ability. Cuz with God working in u and thru u, it is when effective power is release from heaven. It is really bringing heaven down to earth. It is like the Lord's Prayer, “let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Hope this is an encouragement to all fellow Christian who is really into impacting ppl's lives and start to learn to learn from other Christians and helping other to be a great impact. What I am now is really due to God's glory and praise and also a wonderful leader in my life, BK as compare to other CGL whom I have b4, but the real credit is really seeing how BK coach, guide, discipline, lead me into who I really am as he really spend every effort to help me and have been my spiritual leader for so long as I can account. Last but not least also thanks Rev Kong to have such a strong spiritual filled church tt equip every members with the cultural mandate to be the salt and light of the world. Without Rev Kong, we are not who we are too, and I know Rev Kong will sure say the credit goes to the spiritual fathers to him like, Rev Ulf, Rev Pringle, and so fort and den also the ancient Christians Pioneer. All credit as I mention earlier is really due to God willing to build a relationship with everyone of us.
So appreciate it, fellow Christians and Christians wanna be. Praise God!!!

UPdate for the week!!!
Last wk was a wonderful wk with so many things at hand to accomplish and complete and update. I went for a few interview and gg to work soon, in fact I have started working. At the same time, I was helping Chia with her fren, Carol to get over some personal issue which I was quite good at it. But b4 talking much on how I handle the problem, I would like to talk more abt me first. Labels: Updates
Since last sat and sun I have been busy with Church Svc and the "Sermon on the Mount" is really a great impact on my life as life is being transform and godly-motivated and spiritual filled. I also notice tt our CG is bonding stronger and mixing ard better as we currently have been having alot of sports activities especially after Sun Svc. We are becoming more and more health conscious. What is the best is today is our long awaited Games League for our CG together with N88 and also Serena CG. We all had an enjoyable games. Hope we can have this more often.
For the wkdays, I have been working here and there and trying a few new jobs and also taking up more tuition assignment as I am gifter in teaching and coaching ppl. So I guess I will be moving ore on my gifts and talents and maximise it.
I also attend Thur prayer meeting and was cool to have an update on Carol as she now is suffering thru a tough times and admitted to hospital on Sat and was so worried. So in the end I have decided to step in to help her tide thru these period of times.
Wat I felt make the best of the week is to help Carol regain her confidence and happiness n her life. Next is the exciting games we had on Today's afternoon as it was great to have such wonderful cell grp members to plan the games and a cell grp leader that cpach us and lead and guide us and mentoring and disciple us.
